pdogg Posted July 3, 2013 Share Posted July 3, 2013 In response to recent incidents involving Ladyboy’s and foreign tourists, and to maintain some form of normality on Pattaya Beach Road, if only for a few hours, Pattaya Police arrested 25 Ladyboy’s found loitering on Pattaya Beach, early on Friday Morning. Police Colonel Suwan, the Pattaya Police Chief, ordered the Police and Volunteers to check Pattaya Beach Road from North to South Pattaya and detain any Ladyboy’s they could find and take them back to Pattaya Police Station. As they were arrested purely for loitering, which is a minor offence, Police were empowered to levy fines of just 100 Baht per person before they were released back onto the streets to presumably continue with whatever they were doing before they were arrested. A Russian National is reported to have fallen to his death over railings on the 6th floor of Central Festival Pattaya Beach on Friday Night. Police and rescue services rushed to the scene and inspected the body of the Russian which was lying in a pool of blood on the ground floor. The man was seen with three other friends, presumed to also be Russian Nationals, who were too distraught to talk in detail with Police, however they did mention that the victim, whose name or age is unknown for now, leant against the railings on the 6th floor of the Shopping Mall and toppled over and fell to his death. Police are examining security camera footage at this time to determine if this was an accident or not. Members of the public complained to the Sattahip District Authorities over concerns that Monks at the Sattahip Temple were using illegal drugs which was causing them to act in a way not considered as appropriate for Buddhist Monks. After seeking permission from the Chief Abbot, a team of officials armed with drug testing kits conducted a check on 15 monks on Friday and found that 5 of them had recently consumed methamphetamine. The Monks aged 25 to 35 were sent to the Chief Abbot and were removed from the monkhood and sent to a drug rehabilitation program organized by the Sattahip Navy Base. Official opening tomorrow night. Three confirmed members of Staff so far. Pat, barmaid, didn't want her photo taken as she was without make-up. Here's Fren, who says she works in Reception, so won't be taking any of you boys home. Ahem.: And this is Nancy, who will be delighted to have a Lady Drink (and perhaps more?) with any fine upstanding gentlemen who wander into The House: Haven't got any specific info re prices (Lady Drinks, BFs, & etc.). Same goes for ST rooms, and so on. No word yet on ownership. Will endeavour to get some hard data for y'all before it opens tomorrow night. The House seems rather small - nay, cosy - on the inside, and the girls were very welcoming. I'm sure the La Bamba girls will be popping over tomorrow night to help get things off to a swinging start. I'd say it's a welcome addition to Soi 13/1, and possibly another stop on the trail for you thirsty travellers. Stopped in on my way to Famous (Fatboy UK's birthday party) as it was en route (well, 10 metres from my front door is still en route, right?) and had a drink with Rico. As 4:17 said, he's a nice guy. The nice thing about this bar is that the front door is modelled on a 1920's speakeasy, so it should keep out the riff-raff. 555. OK, here's all the info I have - just selected bar prices: Lady Drinks: 120 baht San Miguel Light: 75 baht before 8pm, 95 baht thereafter Sangsom: 60/75 baht Vodka: 100/120 Bar fine: to be decided i asked the ladies how many girls would be there tomorrow night, but they seemed unsure. They have two 'fun' rooms, similar to a karaoke room, on the ground floor. 'Guest' rooms are available, and there is even a receptionist, khun Fren. Prices for the rooms are, again, to be decided. The operation took place at the Fun Seekers Dance Bar in Central Pattaya and as soon as the transaction was complete officers moved in and detained two girls under the age of 18 who were working at the Bar. pdogg Posted July 28, 2013 Share Posted July 28, 2013 On Friday Afternoon officers from the Police Region 2 Child and Women Protection Unit armed with a search warrant and arrest warrant issued by the Pattaya Provincial Court attended a house in the Banglamung area occupied by a Swiss National who is accused of possessing explicit material relating to minors and allegedly inviting boys aged between 10 and 13 to his house. Allegations of improper and unlawful activities involving the children have also been made against the suspect. Officers gained entry to the house occupied by Mr. Robert Tschopp aged 67 from Switzerland, a former Pattaya Bar Owner and longtime resident of Pattaya. Officers presented him with copies of search warrant number 528/2556 and arrest warrant number 505/2556, both dated 26th July 2013 and issued by the Pattaya Provincial Court At the time of entry a 13 year old boy was in the house and was found to be no relation to Mr. Tschopp or anyone else in the house at the time. A search uncovered explicit pictures including a 2005 Calendar depicting naked and semi-naked young boys in various poses and a pornographic video reportedly depicting children stored on a computer which was seized as evidence. Throughout the visit Mr. Tschopp denied all and any allegations detailed on both Court Warrants which included allegations he provided friends with underage boys and girls upon request. The pictures appear to have been taken in the swimming pool located at Mr. Tschopp’s house and statements from a number of children suggest he paid them between 200 and 300 Baht per visit and would always warn them to keep their visit secret. pdogg Posted August 4, 2013 Share Posted August 4, 2013 On Wednesday Night a foreign operative was sent inside the “My Friend You Bar” located in Soi 6 off Pattaya Beach Road, armed with 3,000 Baht in marked bank notes, and was able to pay the money to the cashier in exchange for a “short time” encounter with a girl aged 15. The money was handed over and the foreign operative indicated to waiting police officers that the transaction was complete. They moved in and detained everyone inside the bar including the 29 year old cashier and 13 bar workers aged between 19 and 38. At Pattaya Police Station the girl revealed that she would receive 1,000 Baht of the money but would have to pay 300 Baht for the use of a room which left her with 700 Baht of the original 3,000 Baht. The bar owner is facing serious charges relating to the underage bar worker. pdogg Posted August 5, 2013 Share Posted August 5, 2013 A 52 year old Australian was beaten by a group of 7 young men after he was forced to stop his motorbike behind the South Pattaya Road Market in the early hours of Tuesday. Mr. Edward Spiller made his way to Pattaya Police Station after the incident and was assisted by his transsexual partner who was with him at the time. He explained to Police that the pair were riding back to Mr. Spiller’s apartment when a group of 7 men on three motorbikes drove past them and appeared to stare at Mr. Spiller before driving off. At the end of the street the gang had set-up a roadblock forcing Mr. Spiller to stop his bike. He was the set-upon by the gang and one of them attempted to steal his motorbike but Mr. Spiller was able to prevent the theft. The group then drove off in the direction of Pattaya Third Road and Mr. Spiller made his way to the Police Station. Minor injuries were sustained to the Australian and nothing of value was stolen from him during the attack.
