Thailand Prepares for Influx of Foreign Criminals this High Season

Mmmmm. I can see why Tim Newton started his own channel. What is here now is a bit of a mindless lot of nonsense. Despite the new girl being a bit of a looker!. It has happened here with sports broadcasts being infiltrated by females. Apparently to balance the team. Does not matter that most of the time they are there to pick out the juicy bits and dramatize things. Sky Sports in the UK, who do the Formula 1, now have a coloured girl on the team. So not only have they added another female, they have added ethnic diversity!. Well done chaps.

An Indian man agreed to pay a Thai dance teacher 200,000 baht over an inappropriate touch on Pattaya Walking Street yesterday night, but police said he would still get charged as well.

Pol. Maj. Thanya Udthong summoned Ms. NC (alias), a 43-year-old dance teacher, and the suspect identified by police as Mr. Sandeep, a 51-year-old Indian suspect, whom Ms. NC claimed inappropriately touched/grabbed her on Walking Street last night, September 6th.

After being detained at the Pattaya police station, Mr. Sandeep asked the police to negotiate directly with the victim again, to which the victim agreed.

Mr. Sandeep reportedly conceded to his actions claiming that he was totally drunk. He also said that he would pay 200,000 baht in compensation to Ms. NC to settle the dispute, which she accepted and warned the suspect to pay more respect to Thai women.

:roadrage:

A Thai woman allegedly raced her sedan against a Belgian driver on a Pattaya road and crashed into a power pole, claiming she got enraged after the foreign driver ridiculed her car.
The woman, identified by Pattaya police as Ms. Chanphen Thaweesri, 48, was rescued after her bronze Mercedes Benz 220 sedan rammed into a power pole and caught on fire at 3:00 AM, today, October 1st.

The fire was put out by a group of Good Samaritans prior to police arrival. Chanphen was uninjured.

Police also found another party, which was a Belgian driver, Mr. Stephane Mathieu Cordemans, 35, at the accident scene. His bronze Honda Civic sedan was slightly damaged, and he was safe. He refused to give any statement to the press or Pattaya police.

According to Ms. Chanphen’s claim, Mr. Stephane knocked on her window and argued with her about how she drove. He then reportedly ridiculed her Mercedes Benz for being antique and matchless against his Honda Civic. Chanphen said it was at this point that she lost her temper, leading her to challenge the Belgian driver to a race.

The Good Samaritans stated that they saw both parties racing at a high speed and dangerously trying to overtake one another before the crash. Two other cars were damaged as well, according to the Samaritans.

Pattaya police took Ms. Chanphen to the police station for an alcohol test. It was unclear what charges would be pressed or if the Belgian driver would also face any charges.

A popular entertainment venue, CLUB ONE Pattaya, was raided in the early hours of this morning, October 23rd. A number of drugs were found and confiscated while roughly 200 Thai and foreign customers escaped.
The raid began at around 3:00 AM. on Sunday by officials from Pattaya City Police Station, Chonburi, and Region 2 police. Upon arrival, a number of tourists, estimated to be around 200, were found dancing and drinking. The authorities then ordered an employee to turn off the music and a drug examination on all customers.

But while the officers were examining, one male customer began shouting and refusing to be inspected. Then, chaos began when hundreds of tourists tried to push through the guards’ defense lines and fled from the scene to escape the inspection. Due to less officials than customers, most tourists managed to slip away.

The real owner of the raided CLUB ONE PATTAYA is believed by Pattaya police to be a Chinese national with a long criminal record, while the deputy inspector general of the Royal Thai Police said he is planning to enforce a 5-year closure on the venue.

An unidentified Thai man believed to be in his early forties was arrested last night, November 13th, for allegedly sexually abusing two stray dogs outside of a distribution warehouse of a private transport company.

The incident took place at 9:00 P.M. at a warehouse located outside of Soi Nong Mai Kaen 12 Moo 7, when the unidentified Thai man drove up to a parking lot outside the building in a bronze Izuzu D-max, stepped out of the vehicle, and began interacting with two stray dogs in the lot, a male and a female dog.

Mr. Prateep Rodphetpai, 45 years old, a warehouse security worker, was working inside the CCTV room of the warehouse and decided to carefully observe the man as his behavior seemed odd. A short time later Prateep’s suspicions proved correct as he was shocked to see the man allegedly perform sexual acts on each dog. The man then began to try to take one dog, a male, into his pick-up truck but the dog attempted to resist and get away.

I rarely go to bars nowadays but a good proxy for how busy the Pattaya bars are is how busy the massage shop is where my better half works, and right now it is incredibly busy.  Tourists won't jump through hoops (unless they absolutely crave ladyboy cock) and there are no longer any hoops so the mongers are back in town.

Region 2 Police rather than Pattaya Police is cracking the whip to prohibit the 7 Deadly Sins.  :girl_devil:

Guess Region 2 is somewhat analogous to Five-O and the Pattaya Police to the Honolulu PD.

1-No allowing underage users below 20 to enter bar and entertainment venues.
2-No selling alcohol to underage users below 20 in any venues including restaurants.
3-Entertainment venues must be shut and all customers gone by legal closing times, currently between midnight to 2AM depending on zone.
4-Selling alcohol over the legal time is prohibited at all venues.
5-Allowing weapons and illegal drugs into entertainment venues is prohibited
6-Allowing human trafficking in entertainment venues is prohibited.
7-Allowing illegal gambling in any venue is prohibited.
