Ladyboys and the Draft Lottery

Think the reason there were only 12 Ladyboy Red Cards in Pattaya is that most have to go back to their province for the draft.  It seems silicone will exempt them but bone spurs in the foot won't.

While they were forced to draw lottery tickets this year, 12 transgender women still were disqualified from service at this year’s military service service at this year’s military service drawing in Pattaya.

Nearly 1,350 males under the age of 21 showed up for the April 7-8 drawing at Pattaya School No. 2 with the armed forces aiming to draft 405 of them. Transgender women, who the government continues to list as men on their government identification cards, were required to appear.

The Sisters Foundation transgender-assistance group was on hand to counsel them on the tests and the requirements and supervised as soldiers measured the trans-women’s silicone and hormone-enhanced chests.

Unlike in previous years, the transgender women were required to draw a colored card which say whether they were drafted or exempted.

April 7 was the first batch of the annual Military Service draw in Thailand and for Pattaya, it’s slightly different with the growing numbers of transgender individuals around. The two day Military Service draw and check-ups take place April 7-8 at Pattaya School 2, and this year the Sisters Foundation were also present to look after their transgender members.

Twelve of the transgender women pulled red cards, which would normally require they enlist. However, due to “technical” reasons, military officers exempted them from service.

The lb in the white dress is quite glamorous and was a Miss Tiffany Universe contestant.

I like the one with the cute dimples in the blue denim jacket even better but the one in the white dress is beautiful and glamorous indeed!

They are both great. I think the one in the white dress has chosen that one to emphasis her unsuitability to be in the army!.

Also to let them know that a lot of her time might be spent under the bedcovers!!!!. Yes I know, that's cruel!.

Thanks for sharing QG!  I have taken a screen capture of the 2 Thai lbs from the video. The one on the right getting most of the attention is the "beauty queen" and university student featured in the story and appears to be the same lb featured in the 2020 story video as well.

That's what I thought too! Maybe her younger sister!

It is the same one. According to this article she has attended for three years in a row and expects to have to attend for another three years.

And pics of Narisara Aonwang 23 displaying her exemption certificates last year and this year. Anyone know why she would have to attend every year?

Because the recruiters want to see a beautiful face every year?

The way the article is written it sounds like they must present their exemption each year to prove their are ineligible. Sounds weird as the army should have records instead of having them show up each year.

You’d think they had better things to do....
