Pdoggg
The rail link from Phnom Penh Airport is operational as of today. It will bring you to a terminal around Monivong and Street 108. It will be free until the end of July.
KendoUK
Rolling stock is not exactly comparable to the Swampy - BKK rail link but an improvement on TukTuk riding. Running 24 hours is good as well.
Pdoggg
Took the free train and I was the only barang on it. It was filled with Khmers but I think they weren't going anywhere and it was a chance for Moms to give their kids their first ride on a train on a Sunday afternoon. The train travels extremely slowly, by far the slowest train I've ever been on but it gets you into a location where you can take a cheaper tuk tuk to your Riverside hotel. In my case there was one passenger car with a locomotive on each end. I guess if demand picks up they could add more cars. There is an air conditioned waiting area at the airport stop.

In Cambo they say barang instead of farang, but I don't think the Cambodians say barang as much as the Thais say farang. In the Philippines we are foreigners. Are we gringos in Colombia or is that just Mexico?
