English Premier League 2016/17

Recommended Posts

Sadly Dukey, after watching that performance tonight on MOTD, it looks like United's players are pissing on their own shirts. From a footballing perspective, I think it is disgraceful to the great players of the last number of years who gave their all for the club, to now witness this bunch of overpaid primadonna's waltz around without a care for the shirt or what it means.

Of course from a Liverpool perspective, it is as funny as fook, and long may it contunue.:yahoo:

Tonight's Man City game is huge.  A win puts City in the driver's seat while a draw puts Liverpool with the advantage going into the final weekend.

Both City and the Reds are up by 1 goal in their games so far.

City now up by 3 goals so I guess the fat lady is singing.

Usually I just root for the teams my friends like but after Liverpool's Champions League game I now kind of like them on their own merits but I guess it is not to be.

Sooo, 31 points and a goal difference of 56 between Liverpool and Manure. Oh dear oh deary me, Dukey. Still Solskjaear will bring the glory days back, I have no doubt. In fact, if recent form continues, I reckon in a couple of seasons, Manure could even win League 1.:movethatass:

The Championship Play-Off Final happened today between Aston Villa and Derby County at Wembley Stadium.

Just to put this game in perspective its the Richest game in World Football

The Winner gets promoted to the Premier League and its worth between £170-180million to the Club.

Prince William was estatic at Wembley today as his beloved Aston Villa won the game 2-1 B)

And this is what it all comes down to. Not only Engerland of course.

Eden Hazard from Chelsea to Real Madrid for 130 million pounds.

Football today is about who can buy the best players.

They're such whores:biggrin:

You are correct to a large extent, of course.  but this is show business, entertainment.  Just because a team spends big does not guarantee trophies but it does help.

I was wrong. Its 150 million pounds. Absolutely reasonable.

This is why I rather watch the womens World Cup which started yesterday in France. Go girls!:clapping:
