For most of us there is no need to actually download Youtube videos. If we want to watch one we just go online and watch it.

But there could be certain situations where you might want to watch particular Youtube videos in a place that doesn't have wifi.  Youtube doesn't have a download button.

Here's an app that worked for me on my Mac to download Youtube videos.  Not sure if it works on all devices. 

It was quite quick to download and install the app.  Once installed you just paste the url of the Youtube video into the app and the video downloads quickly. I was downloading short instructional videos, if you were downloading a movie from Youtube perhaps it wouldn't be so quick.

So what are your favorite apps about anything?

We might have a similar thread somewhere but I couldn't find it. If anyone finds it, I'll merge the threads.
