deleted
I recently extended my 60 day tourist visa for 30 days and learned there is apparently a new rule/paperwork requirement for getting a 30 day extension on a tourist visa. You must bring documentation from the hotel/guesthouse where you are staying in order to be granted the visa extension. I went to the Thai immigration office in Jomtien Thursday with my passport but no documentation from my guesthouse and was turned away. Fook! Had to go back Friday to get my extension. What was frustrating is that they didn't even appear to read the fooking document I brought from my guesthouse. Argh!!!
