Sensations and 69 Bar are arguably two of the more popular ladyboy bars at the moment and get a lot of visits from guys visiting Pattaya. I reckon they are doing something right. Totally agree seven, although Lita's Bar would be a close second now Scott posted this on the PLB forum, thoughts on this Posted 12 May 2015 - 04:51 PM POPULAR Guys im looking for a bit of feedback from the guys who frequent Sensations. We have the opportunity to buy another bar, I don't want to divulge which area but not too far from where we are now. It will still be a beer bar but bigger and it will also have a separate air conditioned room, which would be a lounge area with approx 8-10 sofas, tables and 2 large screen TV's for showing sports etc and obviously private 'fun'. It has its own toilet and there is also the possibility of cooked bar snacks. There will be the same two pool tables, another lounge area in the beer bar section with outdoor lounge furniture. 2-3 Tvs in the beer bar. We have plenty of room out back for fridges, so the beer should always be cold. Please give me your thoughts as to whether you think this will enhance sensations. bumblebee Posted May 27, 2015 Share Posted May 27, 2015 Space has always been important to me when out socialising. Except for party nights i always found Sensations had plenty of it. I have never really been in 69 bar when customers are playing pool but i get the impression it can get quite tight. So that alone would swing Sensations for me. locutus Posted May 28, 2015 Share Posted May 28, 2015 Wow this is like comparing Paris Saint Germain to Wigan Sensation is 6 times bigger than 69 bar and open on all sides with 2 pool tables and 4 times as many ladyboys. 69 is so small and hot in there and theres hardly any place to sit and if someone plays pool you have to keep moving out of the way. I went 2 times to 69 on my trip last year but only once on my trip this year. Spike didnt seem friendly after the first time then it went downhill. Maybe I didn't spend enough or because I never barfined from there or because he didnt know me on the forums or I didnt buy him a drink. I don't know. I 'm in no hurry to go back to 69 especially on the killer pool night as you feel like your just in the way. I ventured into 69 Bar with Dave Duke once last trip and once I stood outside the bar chatting with friends there whilst heading through to Soi Buakow, the Bar is way too Hot , the owner Spike is non to friendly and I decided that I wouldn't be wasting my time and money there again. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The key to Sensations success is not it's size, nor it's abundance of fans to keep a customer cool on a hot sweaty night, nor is it the hot talent on display (69 has that also). The advantage Sensations has is, the owner is a genuinely nice guy, who knows how to interact with customers, be they the bell ringing big spenders, or the couple of beers cheap charlies like me, who will return nightly for a couple of beers, without feeling pressured by the owner to buy lady drinks, ring the bell or barfine half the staff!!! And he doesn't mind a customer having an innocent conversation with his missus, and her responding by making said customer feel like a VIP. bumblebee Posted May 29, 2015 Share Posted May 29, 2015 While i was last in Pattaya I heard these two bars in particular getting mentioned as places guys were heading to later in the night when I was saying my good byes for a quiet night back home. It seemed to be they were the two most popular destinations then and that it was a 50/50 decision which one to head to really. The ladyboys are lovely, the bar is cosy, the Soi 8 location is convenient, and there are no worries about being overcharged. The owner is a top shelf gentleman, a rarity in the sewer by the sea.. Sensations has a nice open feel with through air and working fans making it a far more pleasant experience. There are friendly and pretty girls in both venues but a bar's overall appeal comprises of far more than the sum of its component parts, even if you're happy when one particular part is not in attendance. I'm probably biased anyway as Sensations is my favourite bar and by quite some margin. The comparison between the two venues is very one sided for many reasons. Both are beer bars, that sell beer, with some ladyboy staff (if they can be assed to turn up) in a town otherwise full of ladyboys? It's shit threads like this, that remind me why I don't bother with the forums anymore... If it wasn't for the fact it showed up on a link via my Facebook page, after a night actually in Pattaya hunting for LB action (unlike most forum members) I wouldn't of wasted my time...
