pdogg
A 77 year old British Resident of Pattaya has decided to paint the walls of a Pattaya Temple as his Christmas gift to the local community. Mr. Terry Smith has lived in Pattaya for 4 months and walks past the Sutawat Temple every day and noticed that the walls were in a poor state and needed a coat of paint. With Christmas approaching, Mr. Smith, who tells us he practices Buddhism, decided to buy some paint and transform the temple walls in time for the festive period. Social Media users were the first to publish pictures of Mr. Smith and local residents would offer him food and drink as he continued to paint the walls in the heat of the day. Mr. Smith believes strongly in community spirit and he hopes that his gesture will encourage more Thai’s and Foreigners to involve themselves in community projects. http://www.pattayaone.net/pattaya-news/160360/british-man-paints-pattaya-temple-walls-to-celebrate-christmas/

etgohm
I love it, where else in the world would you find a bunch of mushy bastards? Its a motley crew we have here, from all walks of life and all corners of the world. All of us drawn to the fire by the drive and desire to fuck our brains out. Who would have thought that so many great friendships would be formed! Yes its a strange world but the beauty of the season is that it allows us to reach out to our brothers in arms and embrace the moment. Merry Christmas everyone. Ok so its not in the spirit of the season, but l couldnt resist...

Trenton42
Merry Christmas everybody! If you're in Pattaya and thinking about Christmas dinner, Tequila Reef is serving up a plate for around 500 THB. And, of course, they have Margaritas! Bourbon Street in Bangkok is offering their signature buffet for 995 THB. Turkey deep fried in peanut oil, brussel sprouts (which are rare around these parts) pumpkin creme brule, and Georgia pecan pie are some of my favorites. For a truly staggering offering, check out the menu below. christmas_buffet_menu_2014.pdf
