xyzzy
I first made up a list of long somewhat esoteric songs I like but changed to shorter rocking songs most people know. I really tried to put "Friends in Low Places" on the list as people like to sing along. But maybe a bit too American. At least the list is short so maybe the girls won't totally hate it. It's only Rock'n'Roll (but I like it) - Rolling StonesSympathy for the Devil - Rolling StonesRock and Roll - Led ZepplinLa Grange - ZZ TopI Just Want to Make Love to You - FoghatRocky Mountain Way - Joe WalshRunning Down a Dream - Tom PettySweet Child of Mine - Guns N' RosesMan in the Box - Alice in Chains(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party) - Beastie Boys

Garth Brooks Perhaps the only country song I've ever liked as folks like to get drunk and sing along with parts of the song.

Might take a while for the La Bamba laptop to rise, phoenix-like, from its sickbed, though.
KenW
Had this horrid realisation this morning that apart from Mama Cass leading on #8 it was a totally male list (please, I am NOT a misogynist re music). So, a second, alternative & backup bench/substitute list: 11. Brass in Pocket - Pretenders (Chrissie Hynde) 12. Tide is High - Blondie (Debbie Harry) 13. (I got) A Bird that Whistles - Joni Mitchell 14. What Have They Done to My Song, Ma? - Melanie

deleted
Well, since KenW has amended his already excellent albeit sexist list of tunes, I would like to add a few more, if you don't mind. I feel they are appropriate for Pattaya. 17. Satan is Real, The Louvin Brothers 18. Kneeling Drunkard's Plea, The Louvin Brothers

Hefe
Wow, KenW's playlist really got to me! A list of 10 songs that absolutely nobody but me wants to hear & is guaranteed to drive the girls, & most customers, en masse into the soi to smoke cigarettes for a half hour? Or beat me senseless? You're on.... 10 My Wild Love - The Doors 9 The Dolphins - Fred Neil 8 Afrikaan Beat - Bert Kampfert 7 Be My Baby - The Ronettes 6 The Glory of Love - Big Bill Broonzy 5 Bumble Bee - The Searchers 4 Glow Worm - The Mills Bros 3 Holy Ground - The Clancy Bros 2 In My Hour of Darkness - Gram Parsons 1 I Scare Myself - Dan Hicks & his Hot Licks May be a while till I get back to "CLB" tho, so no worries...
Pdoggg
7 Be My Baby - The Ronettes That's one of my favorites too Hefe! Was a big hit right when I first got my first transistor radio! It was the Golden Age of the New York City DJ with the Good Guys on WMCA, Cousin Brucie on WABC, and Murray the K on WINS. Wouldn't it be nice if they had cocks?
