Anyone been in the Patcha Bar on Soi 4, not got a sign yet (but it used to be the Katty Bar)

Apparently a few LB's mooching about in there

yes, it's the old Katty bar. All still early days Duke, Evidently it is owned by a lady who runs a massage shop further down soi 4.

I'm still a bit unsure but believe it's a mixed bar currently having one LB and 2 GGs. Last night there were just the 2 GGs there.

However the week before there were 4 ladyboys sat there chatting before going to Emmy's birthday bash. I think that Tiger may be staying there.

No doubt all will come clear soon.

The nocturnal beach volleyball games that were taking place nightly somewhere in the Dongtan beach area, have now relocated to to the new improved main Jomtien beach.

For anyone interested, this is a much easier location to get to.  Jomtien beach road between the Now Hotel and soi 12. more or less opposite the big Pizza restaurant. And about 20 yards from soi Grunt!

Thanks for the intel BBG!   Wonder why the shift?   Perhaps they are blocking motorbike traffic along Dongtan Beach at night again?

Emmy had been concerned about what had happened to the Dongtan Volleyball courts, but she is happy with new location.

There may have been complaints about noise and litter.

Will Grunt be complaining now?

i guess that a lot of you out there might not know that Jomtien beach has been dramatically widened from the soi 9 area all the way down through Na Jomtien, the southern end of jomtien. It really is much bigger now [the beach]  getting from Beach road to the water edge is a major trek. No doubt some enterprising Thai will be importing camels soon. Probably with Cannabis advertising signs painted on them.

As is not unusual with Thai's they are all jumping on the legalisation of hash bandwagon. Every shop, coffee place etc is selling it, or trying to. Totally over the top.

It will all end in tears.

Is it close enough that you could hear Lily's calls for help from the dungeon?.

It’s only a matter of time now Seven, we will have our moment in the sun ;)

No more sun for this white boy, its not worth skin cancer. The only tan I'll be having is a motel tan.  The thais got it right when they admire your pale white ass. 'So clean.'

I’m the same, factor 50 and a hat all the time.  It is safer to spend your time in the shadier places of Pattaya and environs I guess :)

TPN reporters went to check on a colossal football stadium located on Soi Chaiyapruek 2 in Huai Yai subdistrict of Banglamung after receiving complaints from residents about its dilapidated condition despite the fact that the project was allegedly still in progress.

The stadium first begun construction around 2008 and remained unfinished until today (September 6th, 2022), local residents told TPN. Nobody sighted workers coming to resume the project for a long time, and the area was littered with construction tools.

Wires and piles of paving blocks and rusted steel bars were left on a footpath and blocked people who came to the park to exercise. This raised questions from taxpayers about the project’s exact completion date, which has repeatedly been put off since 2012 due to several reasons such as geographical problems or lack of workers during COVID-19.

Under the budget of 775 million baht, the massive stadium could fit over 20,000 people. It was built with the goal of hosting the scheduled Asian Games in 2023 and the 5th Youth Olympic Games in 2026 and was named the “Chaiyaphruek” stadium. However, local residents did not believe that the projects would be done in time as there was no one at work right now.

In March of 2021 the project was reportedly 60 percent complete according to then Pattaya Mayor Sonthaya Khunplume, but a few weeks later major Covid-19 restrictions shut nearly all businesses and construction work for almost eight months.

and here you go...  Sarita hotel at the end of Soi Grunt..

There really is no-one like thai's for grabbing hold of any any money-making scheme doomed to lose all their money.

One assumes that Miss Cannabis 2022 may well be helped onto the stage to make her speech whilst muttering about 'Marmarade tlees and Marshmarrow skies'...
