Hefe Posted November 4, 2014 Share Posted November 4, 2014 I remember walking down Sukhumvit in the 90s & turning into a small soi & there was a guy leading his full sized elephant down the street. I think he had a red reflector tied to the tail. I've seen elephants since but usually around bars & smaller, selling banana bunches to farang for feeding, & in less central areas of BKK, but not in recent years. My first trip, 1995, a luxe (Amari?) property in Pattaya where my van stopped for drop-off, had a baby elephant that lifted the new check-in's luggage with it's trunk & carried them to the door. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
