Reading only forums concerned with this part of the world one would think the world of shemales begins and ends in SE Asia. But some of you have dabbled elsewhere around the globe and there are no doubt thousands of guys who get their fix without ever visiting this region. So where does Thailand fit in in the great scheme of things in the transsexual loving world? Is it a case of Thailand and everywhere else, or is it in reality a small minority of tranny lovers who make the trip to Los and the vast majority of guys who actually partake do so in other countries? The majority probably use the internet and see the occasional escort in their home country. Reading forums such as Hung Angels (just a peek occasionally), it seems most people there are interested in local ts, which makes sense as planning overseas holidays can be quite pricey. For sheer popularity, it seems the Brazilian shemales are number one and Asians come second, but this is in terms of porn, not actual visits. Hmmmm, all I know is when I travel to SE Asian my desires are within reach 24/7 for as long as I can afford/sustain it physically/financially. I have travelled the globe and have not seen/experienced anywhere near the same. However I have not travelled to South America so perhaps it might be similar although my sense it is somewhat more dicey involving more pre-planning, organization, and harder work. However I can speculate with the best of them. I'm still not exactly sure when or how I became interested in TS girls, but when it had moved from a fantasy to something I had to try I started to evaluate my options. I'd mainly been fascinated by Brazillain TS on the web. And looking at the local escorts in my area, I didn't see anything that I would want to give a try with. They were men in drag. I searched the internet and realized if I wanted something that would scratch that itch I would need to travel abroad. I was fortunate that my finances were in place to let me do so and sites like lb-69 had forums that showed newbies it was possible. Since my first trip to Thailand, the quality and beauty of the TS escorts in the US is now fantastic. However, I find the experience of going to Thailand is so much better. I've been with a couple of TS escorts since my first trip, but it is just so mercenary. I'd rather save the money and put it to a trip to Thailand. If my interest in TS started today, I am a quick trip away from LA where I could bang a hot pornstar. That wasn't an option when I started. So my guess is a lot of guys today give it a try at home first if they are from the US and probably never contemplate a trip abroad. To me though, Thailand is an experience that can't be replicated. Possibly as many get the urge to try Thailand after seeing that Hangover movie. Plus it's often joked about and some of em are goin YEAH, I should check that place out. Brazil MIGHT get the next highest numbers (I'm surprised tho at the numbers of escorts one sees in Turkey tho). But that's pricey TOO now. Costs about the same for me to fly THERE as to Thailand. And it's a LOT closer. But they have massive holiday numbers from the general public. While places like Columbia have started to pick up, doubtful MANY go there. Too dangerous. Panama which I'd think is better/safer (they have a fair normal expat group there) has not ONE posting here. Mexico? well, mostly they're in Mex city. Danger, mess to get around, expensive as many major cities. Bottom line is there's gonna be more affordable TS experience in places where there's less other job ops. Forget the states, last i'd seen, you'd have to fly em to your home first, THEN pay like a grand maybe. Unless you live in LA or NYC or the other top 5 pop cities. Many of us get so caught up in the world of ladyboy loving forums that we lose sight of the fact that perhaps only the more vocal posters make the trip and give us the false impression that it's more popular than it really is, and that there are 1000s of other who don't come to SE Asia or are aware of these forums. You are missing the large number of unregistered guests the forums have. That being said, my comments I posted earlier still stand. Most of the European shemales are South Americans and there for the money. In the US most if not all hard core hookers same as in Europe, get in, get off and get out. Money. The guys on LBR for the most part consider the Western tranny scene expensive. But the flip side is that some guys can put together $250 for a shag but can't get the two thousand for a trip.
