I have had a one time experience in Turkey a few years age but beyond this my only other experience was through porn. While this has been fun I have always wondered what it would be like to live where it was possible to have a real relationship with a beautiful tgirl. I have spent much time looking at the various limited options to do this. At first I was under the impression that the only place this could be a reality would be Thailand. I have wanted to visit for years but never took the plunge. I suppose I should add a little info about me. I'm Irish 41yo and in a government job. I was working on the side as an architect. I made good money and had a pretty goo life by most peoples standards. I had a nice home and a holiday home on the med. I had a wife and kids. Then the recession hit in 2014. The architecture work dried up and the wife couldn't cope with the reduced living standards. She left and I lost almost all. However this leads me to an opportunity. I have a 1 time option to take 3 months pre retirement leave & I am now in a position to retire early and start somewhere else. I did consider Thailand and was planning just that when I came across a few people who did that and then decided to do Philippines instead. This then got me interested in finding out more about the Philippines. The fact that they speak English there got me really interested and the more I looked it up the more it suits my personality. This with the fact I see many smoking hot tgirls from Pi online made my mind up. After a few months research I am now booking my ticket in two days. After a week I took it down as I couldn't cope with the volume of response I was getting. Not something I was used to or deserving of. I did get talking to one girl I took a liking to. I will be meeting her when I arrive all going well. She wants a relationship but as I told her I won't commit to a relationship with someone I haven't met for real. I had a few nerves about such a long trip but I went ahead as I know I really want and need to experience this. I'll be leaving my home and not seeing my family for quite a long period with no backup. I'm a scuba diving enthusiast so I use that as van excuse to do some LB searching when I go. Dumaguete is great as is Moalboal and Malapascua island. As you've discovered there is no shortage of LBs that want to meet western men. There is a ton of info about the PI LB on various forums so do your homework before you arrive.....you need to understand some of their culture to be able to weave in and out of their country. Catholic religion has done a huge injustice to this country in my opinion. Researching the various places in Cebu looking for a place to stay. I plan on staying in a hotel for a week and using this time to search for a more permanent base. Maybe a. Condo or apartment. Looking for something convenient and safe that doesn't break the bank. I'm talking to two girls right now. Again they're putting pressure on to make a commitment to them so I think it may be time to cut loose and move on. I have no intention of falling in love but. I would prefer to stay with one or two nicer girls for my visit. It should minimize any rust of STDs I'm not sending money to anyone. I have no problem treating them while there. I am looking at this as a place for a possible future retirement destination so i will be doing more than mongering. I plan on visiting bohol and Dumagette while there. Funding depending I may also visit Vietnam Cambodia and northern Thailand also. But that has yet to be decided. At the moment in just trying not to get too excited about the trip. I also feel Cebu is a better destination than Manila for a newbie, more manageable with the big city advantages. I also hear very nice things about Dumaguete & tho it is smaller than Cebu the universities & colleges with their influence & young population + the sizeable expat community & nice waterfront area make it an interesting prospect... it has moved up to the top on my list, but it is a smaller city, def worth a look if feasible. I have been talking to some girls to get a feel for what to expect. After a wobbly start I have gotten the hang of managing expectations on both sides (I think). There was a couple of false starts. I started by talking to a girl on Pina love. It turns out she was trying to scam. It did however provide a little education for me on what to watch. I got access to her Facebook profile. This then led me to access to quite a few girls profiles. It seems there is a number of girls I see on Facebook who are engaged to western guys but still active on the dating sites. I found this really useful. Its not that I care what they are doing but it served to show what's happening. I'm still not put off. I have talked to some really nice girls. I have told them all I'm not there for long term relationship or distant type relationship. There is more than one girl willing to meet up on them terms. With that in mind I have a girl who is going to meet me to help me settle in. She has a good job so won't be able to take time off to travel the islands with me. While everyone is acutely aware of the need for setting a realistic budget, few of us consider how to go about starting new friendships or even meeting other expats, once` we move to our new and permanent overseas abode. I'm just wondering how you factored this requirement into your plans for moving to Cebu ? In any event, I hope your plans work out and you really enjoy your new life in the Philippines !!
