Do they get the majority of their punters online from dating sites and FB these days or is the tried and trusted bar still the main source of income? And looking for their contact details is possible on some of the sites but many of us like to meet in person. We all know how misleading pictures can be. But that's only part of the issue, the bars win because that's where the alcohol is served. The presence of the girls combined with the effects of alcohol & there's no contest. No one ever picked up their phone, looked at a picture of a 5 out of 10 & thought "yeah, she looks nice, I think I'll spend a few thousand baht on her because there are no options at 2 in the morning". You can see as many cute girls as you want on Thaifiendly or Facebook or some porno website, but how on earth do you know how you will you click with those people until you get on the ground and meet them and have a drink or a coffee together? By then it may be too late; plans have been made, face must be saved, some farang has promised his beloved Facebook attachment he will spend his vacation with her and now one day in he feels trapped with someone who doesn't look as good as she did on the 'net and who he has no chemistry with. Ooooops. Tough situation to get out of. People used to contact me for e-mail addresses and phone numbers of some models I knew and early on I'd provide that, no problems. While also telling them "you know, it's actually better to wait until you get to Thailand and you actually meet a few of the girls rather than getting tied down with a few who you may not like in person." I will tell you a true story that happened on Thursday, the day before left Bankok for home I see a really pretty picture and contact details on a Porn Site for a Ladyboy who we will refer to as Miss X who apparently does not work the bars and as i neve see her in any bar thought that must be true. The Pic and bio was petite , small tits , pretty etc etc and she looked a real sweety and just for me. I tried to phone her for around 4 days but the phone switched off but by accident i pressed her number on my phone when i was in Pattaya and she answered, i told her that i would come back to bangkok in a few days and see her then. After i arrived in Bangkok i phoned her and she now claims that she has to go to some province to see her mother. Ok so two days later she phoned me back and was back in BKK and we finally made a meet up for 9pm outside Terminal 21 Store on Thursday . I bumped into a fellow BM on the way to the meet and told him i had a date but if it went sour i would see him in Cascades . At around 10pm she had not turned up and the phone was not answering so i thought i head back to Cascades for a beer as the date had gone cold. So is it now more a case of bars for drinking and meeting friends and Thaifriendly/Line for a hook up. I upgraded on TF and used it lot last March, it was a Godsend and I met some really great girls (some that will be repeats in November), otherwise I would have had no idea where they worked or in the case of the Freelancers never met. BigTel set up a Line ID on my tablet for me when I went to visit him in Wales in July, I can't thank him enough because it is so easy to chat with the girls. I now have around 100 girls on my Line and have chatted to about 60% of them, I have told them I won't be there until November... the ones who give me the time of day, are nice to me and seem fun I will keep, those who don't will be discarded. It's good finding out a little about them beforehand imho so I am not wasting my time when I get there, you know the one "what your name, where you from, how long you stay" etc etc, I really can't be arsed with that anymore I know a lot of guys say its a waste of time and say to just visit the bars but it suits me my way as I will visit bars (where some of these girls work) on Soi's 1, 3 & 7 & especially Jomtien for example that I have never visited before to check them out. There about half a dozen girls on Soi Buakhao I am very interested in , only problem is that they are all in bars virtually next door to each other (Fantasy Lounge, Nid Cha House, Titti Twister & BB Massage) , I have been with three of them before so I will have to see how things pan out there The other good thing about TF is you can see they are still available in the late hours without having to visit the bar, and can chat to them on Line and make arrangements easily, I am not saying that to avoid paying barfines but if the bar is closed then its up to the girl what they do in "their" time, it is also an easier way for them to get customers at that hour I suppose its got to the stage where I do go to bars to meet with friends and worry about the ladies afterwards, however there are the exceptions of Lita's and Baby Boom where I know there are at least 4 girls at present in each venue that I fancy going with, will have to see how that pan's out as well I'm sure I do just fine via TF with the girls again, and especially now I have their Line ID's I mean where else do you get messages like this? Do bars have any policies regarding girls using their photos during working hours etc? From my own observations the girls in Katty bar spend most of their quiet moments on theirs, but I believe they are mostly freelancers so likely spreading their net wider with Thaifriendy while hanging out with friends in the bar. I think more girls in beer bars are freelancers than in the past. Think this is a win-win-win for the girl, the customer, and the barowner. For example in Katty Bar, I think Teya who doubles as the cashier and everyone else is a freelancer. Think for a brand new girl in town, it might be best to be on salary though. Once you get a following who needs a fine for not showing up on time? In most gogos the girls are not freelancers. They are quite often Agency Girls.
