Hotels.com vs Agoda

Do you prefer Hotels.com or Agoda?

 

It seems most guys use Agoda if not booking directly with the hotel.  But by comparing prices I think Hotels.com might be better.

 

The prices are very often exactly the same (but Agoda does not initially show the service charge and tax in their initial price, so for Thailand hotels you need to multiply the Agoda price by 1.177 to reflect the 17.7% increase when you actually book)

 

But Hotels.com seems to have a better loyalty program.

I always use Agoda booked 3 nights for over in Koh Larn for a wee break cost of hotel £33 a night think I paid £13 used up the points I had collected this year with a few trips to Patts and Bangkok....have done the day trip thing there thought a few nights would be nice of course I will have some company with me LOL....
