Pattaya - Flooded tonight - Pics

Tonight was the worse flooding I have seen in Pattaya ever.

Soi Lengkee and Buakhao were pretty much knee deep in horrible brown water, it must have put a lot of people off even going out.

I did manage to get over to Obsessions were there were a few people in the bar.

The party at Baby Boom was a big problem though… You basically had to walk above knee height in water to get down to the end of the soi, when I arrived the place was flooded and pardon the pun but a bit of a washout…

The girls put a brave face on though and one sexy ladyboy made it back to Opey De with me for what was a superb little session.

Hopefully that’s the last I will see of it.

The creed of the US Postal Service is

Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.

 Backdoor's motto

Neither knee deep brownish water nor fookin anything for that matter stops me from finding a cute LB or GG arse to penetrate!

Great on the ground reporting!  :pic:

Nearly missed my flight home the other week as got marooned in The Darkside till the wee early hours as it was knee deep in soi 33 and Soi 13 where my hotel was.

Looks bad though there. Baby boom seems to be a wash with it in them pictures

It was really bad mate I took a motorbike taxi to Obsessions and he had to stop half way through because the water was too deep. Think it flooded the poor blokes engine.

I had to carry my barfine through the water up to Soi Buakhao...

Wish I would have got a picture.

I got a email from one of my sweeties a few hours ago. She said the rain and street flooding was so bad she was just staying in her room tonight surfing the internet and watching music videos. I replied that that was all she did at work anyway. Her reply? "No! That not true! You not funny! Kiss!" God I can't wait to get back, flooded streets and all!

Never got to the Baby Boom. Torrential rain and Soi 13/3 was like a raging river running into Beach Lake (aka Beach Road). I was visiting a friend on Walking St. and almost needed a canoe! Walking street was completely flooded up to the top of the curbs (at least as high as Nancy's cock is long).

BB, good thing the camera I was carrying was waterproof, and the rain washed off some of the sperm stains left over from the last photo session. 555

Interesting that they rebuilt the walk way on Beach Rd to be higher but they seemed to forget to add the drains to empty the water from Beach Rd into the sea. Stupid. So when looking across the street, the Beach Rd walkway is like an island.

Raining every day for the past few days, mostly in the evening and usually very hard, for a long time.

I feel bad for the FLers on Beach Rd. First, they take away ALL of the places to sit, then Beach Rd floods so that no one wants can get to the beach. What few FLers were out were plying their wares on the east side of the street. Overheard 3 Indian guys negotiate 1000 baht all in for a bigger, but cute-faced GG. I was going to intercede and save her by snapping her up, but figured if I did, I'd have to carry her on my back all the way home. Too much work.

I'm headed out of town for the night, to a secret place nearby that I heard has a ladyboy or three.

It got back to the room safely also, after a serious detour.  With the zoom on that bad boy, I hope to get some sperm inducing paparazzi shots for the members when I get back to town soon. :pic:

Keep canoeing. :hi:

Sections of Pattaya Beach have disappeared following the heavy rainfall on Monday Night.

After 2 hours of sustained and heavy rainfall, much of Pattaya experienced flash floods with water depths of up-to 1 meter in places.

On Tuesday Morning Pattaya City officials toured the city to survey the damage caused by the rains and found that sections of Pattaya Beach, especially the Northern end of the Beach had been swept into the ocean as the rainwater flowed down to the beach taking sections of the beach with it.

Concrete walls and drainage channels had been destroyed and sections of the beach had disappeared after the sand, some of which had recently been placed there to artificially build-up the heavily eroded sections of beach, had been lost to the sea.

Pattaya Officials are now counting the cost of the damage to the beach and questions are being asked as to why recent expansion work to Beach Road, which is one of many known flooding hot-spots in the City, did not incorporate an upgraded storm drain system to ensure that rainwater could be dispersed into the ocean without damaging the beach.

  • 1 year later...

Was going to meet Xyzzy tonight for food but we cancelled that just after 8pm. The heavy afternoon rain had ceased for a few hours by that point but the place was already flooded. Then it rained again around 9pm for another hour, albeit nowhere near as heavy.

Having stayed in playing with myself, by the time 1am rolled around I was hue marg marg (starving), so decided to go see how the water levels were ...

Around 1am the water had subsided but was still ankle-deep next to my place, but knee-deep further down the soi towards Buakhao. I didn't fancy wading through that murky muck so took a walk the long way around.

This is the worst I've ever seen but I don't usually come during rainy season. It was >2 feet deep on Soi Chaiyapoon as I walked out around 8:30 and the same when I got back around midnight. All the buildings have lots of water inside. There is  BIG truck, that was escorted in by police, stuck in Soi Chaiyapoon where it tried to turn into Soi Xzyte. Had to be careful crossing Soi Diana or any big soi running toward the ocean as the current was very strong. Sensations and Action Street were open as that area doesn't flood very badly. But would be a bitch to get there unless you are staying close by. It was good from there down to Pattaya Tai but Tai was a raging river washing well up on the sidewalks.

The good news for the new Baby Boom is that soi is a few feet higher than everything else around. There was little standing water in that soi compared to all the rest. I ate at Pizza Itialy and then had a beer at Garden Bar as the soi was functioning as normal.. Every soi around this soi had deep water and Buakhao 15 was a raging river that got deep in spots.

In order to release reserve funds to cope with the damage and disruption as a result of the heavy and sustained rainstorms caused by the aftermath of Tropical Storm Vamco, the Mayor of Pattaya has declared Pattaya a “Disaster Zone”, although in reality the situation has improved since Wednesday.

Beginning with the sea, waves of between 2 and 3 meters in height are still being experienced and the Red Flag is still in place which prevents any private or commercial vessels from sailing.

On land, a major issue has emerged on Highway 331 in the East of Pattaya where parts of the road have collapsed leaving large holes which are forcing authorities to close sections of the road until repairs can be made.

Also in the East of Pattaya the railroad has been closed in places due to flooding. The poor construction of the road has been blamed for this issue which is caused by poor drainage and undulations in the road which cause some areas to easily flood during periods of sustained and heavy rainfall.

In Soi Kaotalo in East Pattaya parts of the newly resurfaced road are peeling away, an issue which is also being blamed on poor road construction methods.
In Soi Watboon in Jomtien floodwater remains and in some areas side roads remain impassable.

There is good news in many parts of South and Central Pattaya as floodwaters subsided throughout Thursday leaving most areas wet but passable.

Pattaya is now waiting to see what the next 24 hours will bring but with the authorities now receiving assistance from the Army and Central Government in Bangkok, the Mayor is confident the City will recover and rebuild roads quickly and offer good assistance to residents who have been affected by the floods.
