Taxi to this area would be around the same as taking a taxi to Nana/Sukhumvit area - around 350 - 400 Baht. Sashy, the price was mentioned in the earlier post as above. That's a very low price - and if the operation turned out well - that was good - but cheap is not necessarily the best way to go. That kind of price sounds like it may have been the Pratunam Polyclinic owned by Dr. Thep. He does a reasonably good job, but the conditions of the clinic are not the best. For quite some time he was doing operations under local anesthesia only. That means patients would experience much more pain than those who had general anesthesia. Also there have been reports his clinic is also not the most sanitary. Despite this he does have many patients.
