Mod1
for around 1500 baht I can see you have the pick of the litter all over. What *I* want to know about is the less pricey spot near the action. Perchance I'll weigh in around Nov 22 with a review of the White Orchid (I was told 500, and have seen 600 I believe or was it 7?) or Da Bed, both on the same lil alley across from the Big Mango as I recall. I THINK the Nana Hotel/Inn is going for 900 now. Agonda said all 334 beds are full on the 21st. Hard to believe. Da Bed looks great at that price! Has anyone stayed there? http://www.asiahotelandtravel.com/index.php?/topic/2-bangkok-accommodation/?p=405 White Orchid is in Chinatown? Nana Hotel Inn, are you talking about the place across from NEP where ladyboys and ladies freelance in the parking lot? Thought they charged more than 900 these days/
EyeMahk
Da Bed looks great at that price! Has anyone stayed there? http://www.asiahotelandtravel.com/index.php?/topic/2-bangkok-accommodation/?p=405 Yes, It's basically a nice short-time place, although they rent rooms for all night. Pictures on Agoda are more flattering than it really is. Good location.
Guest JustSumGai
perhaps I was thinking of Nana City Inn over across from Guess. Da Bed is gonna be one place I stop. I'll be the guy hauling a HUGE suitcase on wheels, with a smaller one on top of it and a sport bag thing over my shoulder HENCE my interest in White Orchid (I & II). I've used both as short time rooms. ONE time there with Moo I was lookin around and thinking, hey, this would not be half bad to stay in. II opened in 2010. Around 750. WO I has a single size bed room for 550. Da Bed is RIGHT next to II. I always get Bangkok Lung when I come in (NEVER on the way HOME). I've tried everything. This time I figure if I'm gonna get sick, I'm gonna have fun. I figure it would not be impossible if I did NOT get that lingering coughin up oysters thang while staying in a short time room place where god KNOWS I should get ill, hahahaha. Comin in around 1:30am, hoping to get a room by the time the Nana Walk happens and get some good ol greasy burgers. If these fail there's always the Nana City Inn. pdogg
Ibis Hotel soi 4 Nana. Ibis Nana Hotel The Ibis Nana Hotel Bangkok is not the only guest friendly hotels on Sukhumvit Soi 4. But it's certainly one of the cleanest and most affordable hotel to stay in Nana red light district. A mate is here now and really likes this hotel. Perhaps the best value in the Nana area as long as you're OK with having no pool. http://www.asiahotelandtravel.com/index.php?/topic/2-bangkok-accommodation/?p=

I recall at the DIG you could employ the shower hose, but at the Ibis it's a wall mounted shower head. Still it is a nice good value spot in the right location.

Occupancy is expected to be low in Bangkok so it makes sense to look at a few search engines, the hotel website, and compare. Hotels.com seems to have good prices these days. If using Hotels.com or Agoda, please use the links provided by our good friends at Asia Hotel and Travel. Here's the links for the Woraburi. http://www.asiahotelandtravel.com/index.php?/topic/2-bangkok-accommodation/?p=

When I make it up to Bangkok these days, I generally crash at my mates place. Looking around at Bangkok Hotels it seems the Omni generally seems to have pretty good prices compared to hotels in that class. Since there's not that much to do in the daytime in Bangkok, it's nice to lay by the pool and Omni has a pool. It's about a 5 minute walk down Soi 4 to NEP which isn't all that far from Check In Bar. I liked it when I stayed there but that was 10 years ago so not the most recent recommendation. They have an extremely liberal cancellation policy on Booking.com; so you can lock in a rate, and if teh orice goes down you can cancel and rebook. Or if you find a better hotel, just cancel. Here's the LBR link to the Omni. http://www.asiahotelandtravel.com/index.php?/topic/2-bangkok-accommodation/?p=

rxpharm
Major drawback using an Ipad or I* whatever. Those virtual keyboards make for a lot more typos! PD, you have to get a bluetooth keyboard for that Ipad!

Nice looking hotel S69! Although it appears this link brings you to the hotel's website, when you click to reserve it brings you to 1Hotelrez. I found the following on that website: No Show penalty will be charged at 100% of the total value of booking. However, with booking.com, a no show incurs just a 1 night penalty and they also have a very liberal cancellation policy. Pdoggg
no problems with multi-ladyboys parties.... Very useful info Sustra! While it is extremely rare for there to be a problem bringing one ladyboy back to the room, you can never be 100% sure about sex parties. And the price is right! Hey Billy, maybe this is the place for you! http://www.asiahotelandtravel.com/index.php?/topic/2-bangkok-accommodation/?p=

Pdoggg
Looking at the hotels in the Nana area it seems that the Woraburi is the best deal for your money. I'm wondering why it's underpriced? The only think I can come up with is that it is quite a ways down Soi 4 abd your getting a dicount for an extra 5 minute walk? Any other theories? http://www.asiahotelandtravel.com/index.php?/topic/2-bangkok-accommodation/page-
