I want to repeat what I said before in that you guys have really got me thinking about making a trip, and I'd like to thank you all for that. BUT....The question is, which is better, Thailand or the Philippines??? i'm 25 years old, probably will be 26 when I make my trip, and I'd like hear some opinions of you experienced guys. I also found a website called lbkisses, and there are a TON of ladyboys from PH on there. Does anyone know if this site is worth it, or should I look elsewhere? Also if some of you can suggest where I should go in whatever country you prefer. I plan on making my trip in about six months so I'd like to buy the ticket soon. Thanks again!!! Thailand is easier in that you don't have to deal with internet contact, you can just go to the bars. Good question, and as with many things in the scene your mileage may vary; some guys love one over the other, some guys do both......my 2 cents after spending some time in both places is that the PI girls are better to hang around with because they speak much better english and can hold an actual conversation. Thai girls are much better-looking and generally passable in every way, but could drive a person nuts sometimes with their childish ''up to you'' nonsense and their constant lying. Of course PI girls lie also, but it seems more subtle. In a nutshell and in my own personal opinion Thai girls are better for short times, PI girls would be better if you want a real relationship. You asked about which places to visit; in Thailand you have a choice between Bangkok, Pattaya and Phuket for mongering, all depending on your budget and how much you may enjoy the beach. Bangkok is comparably expensive, and Patong on Phuket is expensive but on a beautiful beach; Pattaya has some beaches nearby [don't swim in the main beach] and is much cheaper in every way. IMO the girls in Bangkok are the best and the most beautiful in the world but you will pay more for their time. In the PI you have Manila and Cebu for talent, but neither one has any nightlife to really speak of. In fact, Cebu is boring as hell and I would not recommend it at all, everything seemingly closes down at like 10pm. Some guys here like Angeles City north of Manila but I have never been there. If I were you, brand new to all this and going to Asia for the first time to meet Ladyboys, I would go to Thailand. The malls, where most normal peoples socialising goes on, close about 10pm. So, yes, that is not very exciting. But last time I was in Mango Square in the very centre of Cebu, the bars and clubs were still open at 3am when I stumbled out! The malls in Manila maybe open a little later than Cebu, but not much. Burgos St go go bars in Manila open very late. Angeles is the closest thing to a full on adult entertainment destination you will find in the Phils. The first time I went there, I assumed the gogos closed about the same time as Thailand...2am/3am. Wrong!!!! Me to waitress in Dollhouse: "Don't these girls ever get tired....they have been dancing for a long time" Waitress to me: "That is the morning shift team sir....it is 7h30am, Dollhouse is open 24 hours, you should go home for breakfast now...you are shitfaced!!" By that notion I suggest you start out with Thailand, it's easier to get around & it's easier to access "friends" in centralized locations & there are lots of sights to fill your daylight hours in a place like Bangkok & Pattaya is as cheap as you're going to find in an amiable ladyboy destination. I've been to both a number of times & the PI has a lot going for it: easier language dealings & wonderful people. But it takes more effort & for a first timer & I think Thailand wins hands down. I'm more excited about going to Philippines myself, i love the rawness & the girls tend to be more - shall we say - non mainstream. It can be a wild time and great for exploration.. Over the years I can't even count all the guys who meet a Thai girl and just automatically assume she wants to move to his home country. Thai's are some of the most loyal to their country people I have ever met and their country is absolutely gorgeous, why on earth would they want to move away from that? Especially to a cold, gray place like England or the northern parts of North America and Europe, cold and dark for half of every year? I remember we even had one guy here who met a real lady server at a bar, and right away he fell for her and was scheming and planning on bringing her to his home; in Alaska! Does anyone really think a Thai would like living there? I don't. One more bit of realism here; if you meet a girl online and you hit off and she DOES leave the PI or Thailand with you, if you are twice her age and maybe not in the best shape ever you may want to be prepared to see her walk out the door. They will also stay with you as long as you want provided you can compensate them for their time and the bar for taking her away. If this is your first trip I would recommend Pattaya. There is a lot of ladyboy action. I suggest you spend some time going through the various threads on this forum and educating yourself. Also please feel free to ask any questions you might have.
