Brunei anyone?

Brunei invokes laws allowing stoning for gay sex

Seems that Brunei is backtracking on the death penalty for gay sex. But think amputation is still on the table.

Wonder if a ladyboy cums in your mouth in Brunei if that considered gay sex or does it only apply to anal sodomy your honor?  :judge:

It could just be a miracle, but the Catholic church is investigating how two nuns became pregnant while on separate missionary trips in Africa.

The two women, who belonged to different orders in Sicily, Italy, both became pregnant while visiting their home countries, according to the Italian outlet ASNA.

One woman, a mother superior, discovered her pregnancy while working with “fallen women and their children” and left Italy for her home country of Madagascar, the ASNA report said.

The second woman complained of stomach pains upon her return to Italy and discovered via an ultrasound that she, too, was pregnant, according to the ASNA report. Both women are unsurprisingly expected to leave the order to raise their children.

The church announced that the investigation would prioritize the welfare of the children over the nuns’ violation of chastity vows.

Earlier this year, Pope Francis spoke about widespread abuse in the Catholic church, including sexual abuse of nuns by male members of the clergy, calling it a “serious, grave problem.”

‘My tendency to be too honourable… I’d taken Beatrice to a Pizza Express in Woking… I don’t sweat.’ Whatever his intention, Prince Andrew has provided the internet with a lifetime’s supply of meme-ready content. His BBC interview, broadcast last night, was comedy gold.

The product of all this privilege is a man so unable to see beyond the perceived slights to his own reputation and his own feelings that he was unable – even when prompted repeatedly by Maitlis as to whether there is anything else he would like to say – to express sympathy for the girls Epstein was found guilty of abusing. He has no regrets at having provided a layer of respectability and a potential path back into polite society for the convicted Epstein. It is clear that Andrew’s only concern is himself.

Thai youths burn image of PM as resignation calls grow

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Young Thai political activists set fire to pictures of Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha outside government house on Friday and called for his resignation, as pressure builds on the generals who orchestrated a 2014 coup to leave office.

In the past week there have been small protests seeking to drive him from office in at least six provinces, while internal party squabbles have led to six cabinet members resigning.

Friday's demonstrators burned images of Prayuth and his deputy, Prawit Wongsuwan, both former army chiefs.

"We want to burn the bad things in Thailand," said protester Niwiboon Chomphoo, 20, adding that Prayuth remained in charge because of a constitution that was "unreliable and unfair for our democracy".

Opponents say the military drafted a basic law that all-but guaranteed junta leader Prayuth remained in power as a civilian premier after national elections last year, with members of his royalist military clique in key posts.

Prayuth also faces a tough challenge to revive an economy that the central bank says could shrink by a record 8.1% this year and may have seen 7-8 million job losses, largely from coronavirus impacts.

Youth groups are planning more protests at the weekend.

BANGKOK, Thailand (AP) — Prosecutors in Thailand have dropped all charges against a Thai heir to the Red Bull energy drink fortune who was accused of killing a Bangkok police officer in a 2012 car crash, officials said Friday.

Wonder if Somchai from Nakhon Nowhere would have had the charges against him dropped if he drove like a Boss?

Charges dropped against Thai Red Bull heir in fatal crash

Odd timing.

One of the two witnesses whose testimony reportedly convinced prosecutors to drop all charges against Red Bull scion Vorayuth "Boss" Yoovidhya died following a motorcycle crash in Chiang Mai province in the early hours of Thursday.

Jaruchart Maadthong, 40, was involved in a motorcycle crash at 1am. He died shortly after at Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai Hospital.

His body was sent for an autopsy and would be brought to Chiang Rai for funeral rites, according to Thai media reports. His family and relatives said they knew nothing about his involvement in the high-profile case.

The Chiang Rai native was one of two new key witnesses added to the case two years ago. The other was a retired officer, Air Marshal Jakkrit Thanomkulabutr. Both testified that the Ferrari was travelling at 50-60 km/hour when the crash occurred.

The two witnesses also testified that they saw a policeman on a motorcycle abruptly cut in front of Mr Vorayuth’s Ferrari, causing him to hit the bike. As a result, the dead policeman was named another suspect in the case alongside Mr Vorayuth.

Both were due to meet the House panel on justice and laws on Aug 5. Sira Janejaka, chairman of the panel, urged the police chief to give protection to the air marshal as he was the only remaining key to a trial.

Prince Andrew was at nightclub with alleged victim and not at Pizza Express, new witness claims

A lawyer representing some of the alleged victims of Jeffrey Epstein says a woman has come forward claiming to have seen Prince Andrew at a nightclub with Virginia Giuffre - despite his denial he was there.

Andrew, 60, said he was at Pizza Express in Woking and then at home on the night of 10 March 2001, the night Giuffre, also known as Virginia Roberts, says they were at a nightclub in London.

But Lisa Bloom, a US lawyer who represents some of the alleged victims, said a woman has come forward claiming to have seen them, and the information has been passed to the FBI.
