A recent report on the room: The short time room immediately above the bar is now in a bad state. But friendly service is more important at some businesses than other, for example it's more important at a restaurant than a convenience store. But I will give another unusual example.. I avoided a convenience store where a mate's girlfriend used to work so as not to embarrass her because of my behavior. Instead of letting it slide, I usually question the wrong change or question the register coming up with a price different than the listed price even though culturally we farang are just supposed to smile and move on. Also most convenience stores usually place the freshest milk behind the oldest milk in the cooler. I only use milk for my coffee and older milk often spoils in my fridge so I take the freshest milk possible. So it's just easier not to put a mate's girlfriend in a position where she might be embarrassed by her association with me. Worked at TJ's, then Fantasy, now at Old Number 7. When I met her at TJ's she was fresh from Laos and as innocent as could be. Then under the teachings of M and Jimbo,(god bless his soul), gradually became a streetwise lb. After her move to Fantasy she climbed the steps to be a hardened individual. Cant blame her I suppose. Not exactly a childcare business! Towards the end of that stint her choice of attire and makeup morphed int o a full blown streetwalker. We stll chat and I still comment on her appearance!. Probably not well received at times, but I am trying to be constructive not destuctive. It does not work. Her comments centre around the customer base she entertains. So trashy clothing, excess makeup and blonde wigs rule the day. Her comments are that it is what works with her customers. To me, a sad indictment of our fellow members. We all have our personal tastes, but what a shame when it turns what I think was a great looking girl into one less desirable. Not trying to oneup her customer base, but comeon guys! Maybe it is the dream of the two week millionaires to be with a hardened lb? Compare the before and after photos. Like every bar in the city, it’s a mixed bar, though with only one ladyboy, but a stunner. However, the girls (GGs) seemed suspicious of me chatting with her. Unsurprisingly, I couldn’t reach a deal to 'barfine' her (no barfine but no relationship out of the bar, and one of the girls even screamed when I tried to take a photo. Such a disappointment.
