A Note To Picture Posters

We love it when our member's post pics! A big thank you to the guys who do! :D :) :D

However, too many pics on one page makes the forum load slowly. So a couple of weeks ago, instead of 20 posts per topic page we changed it to 9 posts per page.

Why choose 9 instead of 10? There was one topic with lots of pics already and the 10th post had lots more so just made it 9 instead.

For the convenience of our pic posters, we have it setup so you can attach 10 pics in one post. Now if one page had 9 posts of 10 pics each that would mean 90 pics on the page which is going to slow down loading speed for some members.

So we recommend that if a page has lots of pics already, or if it's a topic with lots of pics, that you don't post 10 pics per post, instead maybe doing 5 in one post and then a second post of the remaining 5.

But we do want to make things nice and easy for our pic posters. That's why we give you the option of posting 10 pics per post. so please youe your judgment based on the individual thread.

Talking about convenience, it is clear that our members want to remain logged in after they power down their computers so they don't have the hassle of logging in each day. That's the way it is on most forums.

Our programmers said that they will be able to do this but need a little time to implement. You might be thinking how hard can this be, since that's how it is on almost every other forum? However, the forum is integrated with the entire website so it's not that easy, or at least that's what our programmers are telling us. Please bear with us and it "should" be sorted out next week. Thanks!
