Ian Brown is a United fan as well. Proper naughty boy not like Liam "loose your teeth" Gallagher for being a gobshite 555.

Ian, John Squires (lead guitar) and Mani (Bass) are all massive United fans, Mani is so proud that one of their songs 'This is the One' is the Anthem at Old Trafford when the United players come out onto the pitch before the start of a game, he hates Man Citeh with a vengeance too

The Drummer Reni is the Lone Man Citeh fan of the Band, top bloke though.

Talking of Liam 'gobshite' Gallagher, I am reluctantly working his 'gig' at the Etihad Stadium next week, can't say I am looking forward to it tbh. :sad0143:

Further into the report it says the men were not carrying passports. Do you guys carry them on you as a routine thing?. I certainly dont. I know you are supposed to but the last thing I would want is to lose it on the streets. Maybe a photo copy would be better?.

It's not a good idea to carry your passport as you might lose it or have it stolen.

I carry a credit card sized laminated copy. Exchange booths accept it as id when exchanging money. You can get one made in the photocopying shops which usually have a big yellow Kodak sign outside.

I still use the one I had made about ten years ago. They then cost 30 Baht for a black & white copy, or 70 Baht for a colour copy.

A former fugitive charged with stock manipulation in the bizarre case of a money-losing New Jersey deli once valued at $100 million was flying in custody from Thailand late Tuesday, en route to a planned court appearance in the United States, his lawyer said.

The defendant, fallen Hong Kong businessman Peter Coker Jr., is expected to appear in U.S. District Court in Newark, N.J., as early as Wednesday afternoon, or as late as Thursday, the attorney John Azzarello told CNBC.

Coker Jr., 54, was arrested in the resort area of Phuket, Thailand, in mid-January. He was apprehended more than three months after the well-publicized arrests in North Carolina of his two co-defendants: his father Peter Coker Sr., and James Patten.

Since his arrest by Thai authorities, Coker Jr. had been held in a Bangkok jail and was awaiting transport to the U.S., having waived extradition.

Azzarello said that Coker Jr.’s legal team “is still in discussions with” the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New Jersey on a possible bail package. He would not comment on whether prosecutors were opposed to a judge releasing Coker Jr. on bond.

A ladyboy was arrested for stealing 10,700 baht from an Israeli tourist on Sukhumvit Soi 4 in Bangkok, Thailand, on Monday night.

A 63 year old man of Israeli nationality travelled to Lumpini Police Station late on Monday night to report that a ladyboy stole 10,700 baht from his pocket as she hugged him. The victim managed to snap a quick photo of the thief which he showed to the police.

Soon enough, police found a ladyboy with the same appearance as the photo standing alone in Sukhumvit Soi 4 in Bangkok’s Khlong Teoi district. Police opened her LYN brand black leather bag to find 10,700 baht and marched her to the station.

Lumpini Police arrested 32 year old Jankij Chankijakorn under suspicion of, “theft at night.” She confessed to hugging the foreigner and secretly snatching the stash of cash inside his pocket. The victim confirmed the identity of the thief.

Smart move to snap a pic. Dumb move to be standing around after stealing a large hall of cash.

I wonder if he snapped the pic before the pic-pocket occurred or immediately after, once he realized.  Either way, smart move.  Not so smart for where and amount he carried his cash.

A fitness center in Bangkok was raided where officers discovered many used condoms and said the center was allegedly being used secretly as a meetup location for gay sexual activities.  Police raided a fitness center and sauna on the Ratchada Phisek Road near the Mahai Sawan Intersection.

The raid came after law enforcement officers received anonymous complaints that the place was operated as a place for gays to have various sexual activities and not for fitness. Many used condoms were found by law enforcement on the grounds of the center in small massage rooms. The fitness center collected 200 baht in entry fees from men each time they visited.

In total, 31 customers, four staffers, and one owner were found although not identified by police. No drugs were found and urine drug tests were performed on all customers but were all reportedly negative. Most of the customers told police that they came to this place to have sexual activities with other men and not for fitness center activities.

Police did not find any evidence to prove that the center provided sexual exploitation. However, four staffers and the owner are facing charges of illegally gratifying the sexual desire of another person, a rare charge.

Motorists are advised to avoid six areas in Bangkok where pro-democracy protesters are holding demonstrations on Wednesday.
The police said demonstrations in many areas of Bangkok would affect travel around the city. The six pressure points are:

1. The Agriculture Ministry in Phra Nakhon district, affecting traffic on Ratchadamnoen Nok Road

2. The Russian Embassy in Thailand in Bang Rak district, affecting traffic on Sap Road

3. The Finance Ministry in Phaya Thai district, affecting traffic on Rama VI Road

4. Parliament House in Dusit district, affecting traffic on Thahan Road

5. The Democracy Monument in Phra Nakhon district, affecting traffic on Ratchadamnoen Klang and Dinso Roads (4pm)

6. The Constitutional Court in Lak Si district, affecting traffic on Chaeng Wattana Road

People are advised to use routes parallel to the demonstration sites, the Metropolitan Police Bureau (MPB) said, recommending that people use public transport where possible. Those who have to go to demonstration sites near schools and office buildings should plan their travel in advance.

MPB has prepared traffic police to facilitate motorists, it added.

For more information about traffic conditions and routes, contact traffic police at 1197 or download the traffic map at the 1197Callcenter Facebook page and from the @traffic_1197 Twitter account.
