For sure he's seems a bit of a high energy SoCal dude, but I detect a bit of a Canadian accent in there.  Anybody know where he's from?

My guess is Chicago, Milwaukee, or Minneapolis.   Accent sounds a bit like the people in the movie Fargo.

He is Canadian - he mentioned it in some of his earlier videos. I think he said he is from Ontario. I believe the personality he is showing has been developed to get Youtube subscribers, which is generating some income (actually a lot), which allows him to do give aways and helping some less fortunate Thais. He is married to a Korean lady and has a teenage daughter.

Alec Baldwin fired a prop gun that killed a cinematographer and wounded the director of a Western he was shooting in New Mexico.

What do you think happened?

Alec Baldwin starred in the film, The Hunt for Red October, wherein he helps hunt down a Russian nuclear submarine that was originally docked in Murmansk on a Soviet base in the Arctic Circle.

A delegation of the RTP (Royal Thai Police) today inspected Suvarnabhumi BKK Airport to check if they are ready for the reopening on November 1st.

The immigration department and the tourist police at BKK were asked to focus on taking care of 3 main issues:

1. Convenience and speed of service, especially the process of entering and leaving the country.

2. Safety of life and property: Precautions to preventing infections with COVID-19 (both staff and tourists).

3. Make tourists feel welcome and impressed!

There are now more than 2,000 police and immigration officers at all five international airports deployed, namely Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, Phuket, Chiang Mai and Hat Yai, and in addition there are 1,715 tourist police officers across the country.

Before the Covid-19 pandemic, they had to handle about 100,000 passengers a day on average.
Currently, there are on average only 1,400 passengers per day coming into Thailand. It is believed that between November - December 2021, there will be an average of 4,000 passengers per day.

BKK is currently able to process about 700 passengers/hour, but from November 1st onwards, if passengers use the Thailand Pass application, they will be able to process up to 2,000 passengers/hour because they don't need to scan documents such as the COE documents, TM.6, T.8, etc.

The Bangkok Post: BMA eases curbs on booze sales in Bangkok

FEMqDXJVIAU4AUl?format=jpg&name=900x900

More restaurants and eateries will be allowed to serve alcoholic beverages from tomorrow, Tuesday night, namely those with a "Thai Stop Covid" certification. More than 30,000 restaurants and eateries are certified as Thai Stop Covid Plus venues while 6,579 businesses in Bangkok have obtained SHA certification, and only 700 have received SHA Plus certification.

This TSC certificate is apparently separate from the SHA certificates...

Seems there's not a huge difference between Thai Stop Covid / Thai Stop Covid Plus and the SHA/SHA Plus systems...

The sale of alcoholic beverages will still be restricted after 9pm

even though the Thai Restaurant Association called on the government to allow operators to serve alcohol until 11pm.

An SHA-certified venue has public health measures in place to prevent contagion, while SHA Plus certification means at least 70% of the staff are vaccinated.

Problems two weeks after the reopening:

The "director of Tourism Authority of Thailand's (TAT) Pattaya office, said Chon Buri will see 50 billion baht in tourism revenue in the fourth quarter following the reopening.

He said about 10%, or 2,000, of travellers arriving in Thailand since Nov 1 head to Chon Buri and the number is expected to double in the middle of the month."

Not only bars in Pattaya and Bangkok are disappointed by the government's decision to postpone the reopening of nightlife venues from December 1st to January 16th next year:

"Businesses in Nakhon Ratchasima, one of the most bustling cities in the Northeast, have expressed anger at the delayed return of the city's nightlife. Phakin Petpol, manager of Tawan Daeng, an entertainment complex in Muang district, said the company called more than 150 employees back to work after the complex learned that pubs and bars would open their doors again on Dec 1."

"To be told they now have to be on standby for another month or so, it's not a pleasant feeling," the manager said."

"The premier has warned entertainment businesses not to reopen before they are given permission to do so or they will face swift legal action. Many pubs and bars have already defied the rules..."

I've heard some precious expats using Krung Thep referring to Bangkok.

BANGKOK (AP) — No, English speakers and others using the Roman alphabet aren't going to have to start calling the Thai capital by its local name, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon, and drop the more familiar “Bangkok.”

That's the message from Thailand's Royal Society, which is responsible for academic and linguistic standards, after a seemingly innocuous change in punctuation in official guidance sparked a flurry of speculation that the city's name was being changed.

It started when the Cabinet on Tuesday approved a Royal Society proposal changing the way the capital would be referred to internationally from "Krung Thep Maha Nakhon; Bangkok” to “Krung Thep Maha Nakhon (Bangkok).”

Staff from a hospital in Bangkok interrupted a funeral right before the cremation ceremony to tell the family that they had accidentally given them the wrong corpse.

After discovering that the wrong corpse had been given away, staff from the Siriraj Hospital in Bangkok quickly went to the ceremony and told the family “the corpses were switched!”
