  1. As of April 2019, ACH (automated clearing house) transfers from your American bank to Bangkok Bank New York and then onto Thailand will no longer be permitted. This is a big deal for those who use this system as their primary source of bringing money into Thailand. In general, bringing cash and exchanging at Super Rich in the basement of Suvarnaphumi but technically part of the Airport Rail Link is the best option. There is also the place around Sukhumvit Soi 9/1 named Vasu or something like that. But if one is not travelling to the USA this is not an option. So I am looking for alternatives. I guess one option is American institutions that offer debit cards that refund the 220 baht fee. Anyone have any personal experience with this? I've also heard about TransferWise which seems to be good fee wise. Does anyone have any experience with TransferWise? Lastly does anyone know if any Thai Bank is able to provide a "Medallion Signature"?
  2. On social media people are saying that people are having oral sex in Lumpini Park. The Governor of Bangkok denies this and is offering a 100, 000 baht reward who can prove that there's been oral sex in the park. Anyone know anyone who has given/gotten head in Lumpini Park? https://www.mcot.net/view/5b6d1ca2e3f8e40ad3f4c1d5
  3. Since you have posted, I reckon you are logged into the Forum. I think what might have happened is that there are two parts to LBR which aren't synchronized very well. One part is the Forum. The other part is the Profiles and Reviews. Most of our active Forum members hardly ever look at the Profiles and Reviews so my guess is that's what happened. Bottom line is since you were able yo post all is well.
  4. 33 baht kebab on Street 130 between Street 5 and Street 13 in Phnom Penh!
  5. Me too. Thought perhaps a recycled pic but her cock seems too small though.
  6. There was a minor forum upgrade yesterday so some things may look slightly different. If you tried to logon yesterday, you may have seen some error messages or security warnings. Today, everything should be working 100% but you might notice some minor cosmetic changes.
  7. Udon seems to have some foreigners. Perhaps I'll live there some day. Reckon one can stay more anonymous in Pattaya while in Udon guess more people know each other. Interesting video.
  8. Cambodian elections take place on Sunday, July 29th. No booze on Saturday the 28th and Sunday the 29th. Hun Sen's party is expected to retain power as the the judiciary conveniently banned the main opposition party.
  9. RATCHABURI — It seemed like just another alcohol-soaked karaoke rager for a Ratchaburi mechanic, only this time he blacked out and woke to find his penis was no longer there. The man, identified only as Suwit, woke up in the emergency room of a Ratchaburi hospital Sunday with serious injuries including a severed penis. Doctors were unable to reattach it because it was not delivered to the hospital with him. The penis was never found. Suwit told local police that he had just moved from his hometown of Trang to Ratchaburi, just a few hours west of Bangkok, to work in a garage. After he got off work Saturday night, he went to a karaoke parlor with colleagues and proceeded to get wasted. His next recollection was waking at the hospital with his injuries. He also has no leads on the fate of his penis, saying he has never fought with anyone since relocating there. Suwit also appeared to have received several blows to the head and face by a blunt object and was bleeding from the ear. Lt. Teerawat Thongyad of Ban Pong police said witnesses saw a black pickup truck dump Suwit off at the hospital and leave in hurry. He added Suwit’s colleagues will be brought in for questioning, and that security camera footage is being reviewed to identify the truck driver in hope of finding the perpetrator. http://www.khaosodenglish.com/news/crimecourtscalamity/2018/07/23/drunk-ratchaburi-man-wakes-up-without-penis/
  10. Quite interesting and excellent video quality! I reckon many will think the narrator is an obnoxious wanker but it's compelling stuff! Thanks for posting Sir Duke!
  11. Secrets just opened on Street 136. It has the same logo as Secrets in Pattaya so maybe there is common ownership. Or not. I've seen lots of unconnected bars using the same Cocktails and Dreams logo. Seems like they are trying to be pretentious in an area where nobody wants fancy. There is a huge grand entranceway, which seems like such a waste. Inside there is a band that was too loud for my tastes. Took a look at the menu and the cheapest draft beer was 4 USD WTF. Usually I will stay for a beer once I walk in but 4 bucks is taking the piss in an area where the more expensive bars try to get a way with with charging 2 bucks for a beer with $1.50 being the most common price for a draft. So I walked less than a minute to Madamme Butterfly which has dollar drafts from 9PM to 3AM and 50 cent drafts before 9PM. If you sit outside at Madamme Butterfly it gives a great view of the epicenter of the ladyboy zone. Each venue on that corner (Street 136 and Street 5) has a huge TV and u can chill watching the comings and going. But if live music such as at Secrets strikes your fancy, there is upstairs at Oscars on Street 104 with a band and buck fifty beers.
  12. Most beer bars and gogos in the LOS will not be serving booze on Friday, July 27th and Saturday, July 28th. Therefore many will close. Plan accordingly and order takeout from Thai Friendly.
  13. Happy Birthday Emmy! Should be a great party!!!! Wish I was in Thailand so I could go.
  14. Then he heads down to Drinking Street and Dolphin Roundabout. Lots of new businesses are catering to Chinese tourists.
  15. Billionaire creep Elon Musk calls hero diver Vern Unsworth a pedophile. Musk's erratic behaviour caused Tesla's stock to plummet 3% in one day. Besides Tesla, Musk is the head honcho at SpaceX. Maybe he is headed to Uranus.
  16. For Thailand, I think bringing cash and making the exchange at the Airport Rail Link booths (technically not in the airport) might be the best option. Extremely small buy/sell spreads. In an emergency situation World Remit is an option. You don't get the best exchange rate but if American is sending money to Cambodia there is no exchange rate since you will be receiving USD. What's nice is that there are cash pickup locations so it is like Western Union. World Remit and other useful Links
  17. Is the Daily Mail reliable or is it "fake news"?
  18. US actress Scarlett Johansson has pulled out of a movie in which she was cast to play a transgender character following a backlash from some members of the LGBT community who believed the part should have gone to a transgender actor. Johansson had agreed to take a role in Rub & Tug as Dante "Tex" Gill — a real-life American crime kingpin who used his massage parlour as a front for prostitution in the 1970s and 1980s.
