  1. Thanks buddy - we did watch the Champions League Final in La Bamba after the volleyball party if you remember... I was in Check In last week but didn't see him. Will have another visit next week.... Good to hear from you BigTel, Ciobha and Donny - I remember you all well lads (especially Tel and his Ninja skills!). Not been down Pattaya for a couple of years so I just thought I would tune in and again and see what's happening. Right, I'm off out into the night!
  2. Yes yes I know it's been a while... but I'm in town. Only problem is, does anyone remember me? And where is Mardhi these days?
  3. Having met Ms Sharapova, I can confirm that not only does she have "quite an arm" she also possesses quite an arse. A large arse.
  4. The new Dubai World airport - pretty much just a few miles from my Dubai location - has been in mothballs for a few years now. Decked out in all its finery, it had a bells and whistles press day before the arse fell out of the world and it was put on ice... Terminal 3 still struggles to cope with EK flights (leaving many grumbling when the flight they have checked in for at T3 is slotted in to a T1 gate and a subsequent lengthy hike), while the Business Class lounge is heaving at peak times. EK is now making it more difficult to retain gold status with fewer frequent flyer miles available, while the prices out of Dubai are mental compared to buying in Thailand (e.g J Class return DXB-BKK-DXB will set you back over 90,000 baht when bought in Dubai with the equivalent BKK-DXB-BKK ticket costing just 61,000 if bought in Thailand). It's booming, no doubt, but more and more sand dwellers are opting for Qatar Airways these days so time will tell if EK's management take it on board and stop with the add ons (2000 baht to change a ticket date now as opposed to free just a few months back). So far we've had two five day sales in the past two months with another Ramadan sale just last week... maybe those seats aren't filling as well as they used to on certain routes. As for the 'old' Dubai Airport.... a few years back I interviewed a head honcho (Emirati) within the Dubai Airport organisation. When asked what would happen to the current airport (spruced up at a cost of squillions) when Dubai World opened, he simply shrugged, waved his hand casually and said: "It will close..." Got to love that pre-crash attitude.
  5. PS Not a footrail as such but a raised edge around the bar you can rest your foot on...
  6. Went into Sensations ostensibly for one drink and a chance to scope out the joint. Staggered off into the night around four hours later having enjoyed a good night in the company of FlatPack and the ever-smiling Paeng. The LBs who came along were in sizzling form, while the Singha was ice cold - always a bonus! It will certainly be added to my regular haunts - although chances of me getting to the party tonight are getting slimmer by the second mainly due to a previous commitment, which I am desperately trying to wriggle out of. I think with the support of the BMs and the TV 'fame' garnered by our star couple, Sensations might just be a successful joint in an area that isn't exactly lacking in bars. A mix of GGs and LBs (and one of the GGs was particularly cute) is a wise move and should help the Boro Boy on his way. As for the pool table... chaps, it is one of the best I've played in town. True and honest (just like me!) it gives a good pool playing experience coupled with the view of gyrating LBs just yards from the tip of your cue... and it's free. Bonus! Add in two flat screen TVs showing sport, the friendly welcome plus the reasonable prices and you get a good mix for a fun bar. Just don't ask FlatPack to play The Carpenters...
  7. Kind of similar to your story Duke-ster - the other week I was out with my non LB-loving friends when I sloped off into Foxy's on Soi 6 and left them in another GG bar... I claimed it was because I couldn't get served *cough*. Anyway, one of them popped in and I was sitting on my own behaving myself so he was none the wiser and quickly f****d off back to his bar. Once he had gone, the delightful Beer proceeded to whip off her bra and knickers and throw herself into my lap wrapping her impossibly lovely legs around me and with her pecker duly flopping around. Unfortunately, she had chosen the exact moment that two of my mates had decided to pop in and tell me they were off to Walking Street - cue a wonderful tumbleweed moment as they stared open mouthed at me cradling a sensational and wonderfully naked creation in my arms. "Kids these days, eh lads?" was the best I could muster and they both shuffled off mumbling something about heading off to "find real birds". A few days later one of them brought it up again in a joking "well we know what you like" kinda way and I simply smiled and said something along the lines of finding it hard to resist such a charming and well presented young "lady". Fast forward a week and I am in Foxy's again for an afternoon Singha with said Beer when she asked where my two friends were. Puzzled, I asked why she wanted to know... "I thought they might come back with you - one of them was in two days after I was with you asking what you did but i tell him nothing," she said. "Then he said he want to come back some night and f**k me..." And I am sure there are many more just like him hiding behind their 'respectable' shields...
  8. I shall certainly aim to swing in tomorrow Mr Pack
  9. Really? Then with the Guess do on the 16th this could get messy...
  10. Hmmmm maybe I will delay that flight to Dubai until the 17th then...
  11. Will do Deep Throat sir. The bar I enjoyed most was The Palms in West Hollywood. http://www.thepalmsbar.com/ It's actually a lesbian bar most of the time but on two days of the week (Friday and Monday I THINK but please check) they have tranny cabaret nights. Most of the ladies are pretty nice and the entrance fee is around $10 and a beer is $6. A lot of lip synching and plenty of camp-ness but a nice option and a good night out. There are a few other gay bars in WeHo that also have transgender performers but I didn't feel comfortable in them - no problem with gay blokes but you couldn't see much and the performers seemed less available than in Palms. I stayed in The Roosevelt in Hollywood so preferred not to wander too far from my base. Palms was fine enough but I believe there are places in Van Nuys as well as joints like Hamburger Mary's but not having visited either I can't really say. Two nights in Palms and the other night was in a bar just off Hollywood Boulevard that I also visited, while I aimed to go to the following http://clubtranzit.com/ although I wasn't sure if it was still on... but I didn't go since it was absolutely blowing a gale that night. The bar I went into was Beauty Bar on Cahuenga Boulevard just off HB. I guess I just got lucky as I was passing it, while heading elsewhere with my mate when I saw an obvious LB having a cig outside the door. Intrigued, I ditched my mate in a bog standard Irish bar and headed back to Beauty Bar where I spent the night canoodling with one of the stars of the show they had on that night. Sadly, her fella was also there and while they seemed up for a night of three-way debauchery our reporter made his excuses etc. There are plenty more places but those were just the few I happened upon. Out.
  12. I might be here Mr P but I don't know for sure - I was on the LBF for several years but the mad mullahs and my lack of a proxy bypass mean I haven't posted on here as much as I should. I've been coming to Thailand since 1993 and, like you, have seen my ratio of GGs to LBs swing considerably in the direction of the latter. Hey, ho such is life. I think as we all get older (I'm nearer 50 than 40 now) we tend to not give a flying whatsit any more and just enjoy what we like. For example, I was in a bar near my house in Pattaya last night, which is populated by small munchkin GGs organised by an athletic and large breasted LB. Needless to say where my attention was for most of the night... and a few hours of this morning. The girls seemed a little taken aback to say the least. And while I am jabbering on, I was also in LA in April for a week and spent most of the time I was away from my homophobic friend finding out where to meet ladies of our persuasion. Three of my seven nights were in transgender bars and while the quality was not as in depth as here in Thailand, I did enjoy the repartee with the US girls... although not so much the attention of Mimi the Mexican who insisted on ramming her finger down the back of my jeans and up my ass while I was leaning over the bar. OK, it was a little bit enjoyable... Best of luck Mr P - hope to see you some time
