Having googled lipotropic injections, the components seem to be reasonably safe. But who knows what goes into the unofficial versions. I suppose it's better than using ice as some do to lose weight.

A few years back it was fashionable for ladyboys to get botox/silicone injections usually in their butts, as they wanted to look more 'Western' in body shape. Not something I found attractive. I liked the slim Thai figure. Now from what I hear they are going in the other direction, with Lipotropic injections to reduce fat on parts of the body, including stomachs, butts, legs, thighs and arms. A lb in a bar proudly showed me her six pack, a taught hard muscled stomach and told me she had done it with injections. Another lb I knew now looks half her previous size after injections. Now while I do prefer the slim look to the silicone butts, I do wonder what these girls are doing to their health in the long run. There are no studies into the long term effects of these procedures. They are available in bona fide clinics and from medical professionals, but most of the lbs are probably getting their injections from other lbs. But I suppose lbs will do whatever it takes to make themselves 'more beautiful'.

I went in Pook Bar first night I got to Pattaya. Called in again as it was opening about 1pm for a cold soft drink after a long hot walk around Pattaya, and had a chat with Mrs Pook. Every time I pass in the evening it has been busy.

Yes I made that mistake. I paid 875 Baht iirc for 2 San Migs and two ladydrinks which I thought was a bit high. It probably included 300 for room. Well Rom got an extra 300 then. It's ok, Bao asked for 1500 for st in FL last Thursday. So same overall.

I was intending to have a quiet night last night. Maybe 2-3 beers and listen to some live music in Treetown. But somehow I got drawn to Soi Buakhow. Pook 6 Bar and Fantasy Lounge were both busy, so I walked on to Old No 7 Bar, a few bars down from Fantasy Lounge. No customers and 7 or 8 lbs inside. I went in and was soon served by one of the girls who I invited to join me for a drink. She said her name was Rom (no relation!) and was from Laos. She went into the grinding her butt against me routine, suggesting we go upstairs. After a couple of beers I succumbed. The way up to the st room is a spiral iron staircase on the outside of the building. As we went up there were cheers from the bargirls in the bar opposite. I think they were for us as I noticed guys looking up. Probably not for the shy. The climb of shame?! It didn't worry me, but maybe why this bar had less customers. The st room was the best I've been in. Obviously a rental condo before with bed, settee and armchair and separate shower/wc. Better than the Fantasy Lounge st room, but that has a more discrete entrance stairway at the back of the bar. Anyway afterwards I gave her the 1000 baht st fee + 300 baht for room, and 200 baht tip and descended, this time without any cheers. I believe this bar is owned by the same lb who owns Fantasy Lounge.

On 'another' lb forum the younger ones without implants were often referred to as 'femboys'. But the girls themselves don't recognise this term and call themselves ladyboy. And many will tell you if you ask that they always knew they were ladyboy from when they were quite young.

bbg says he only goes to Soi Pothole for the falafels. I don't know if that is a synonym for something else.
