So basically there doesn't seem to be that much support out there for them which is sad. Amazing to think that STRAP was the first one formed only in 2002. But glad to see that some of you guys take an interest in these issues also. Really, for the amount of tourist $$ they generate for the Thai economy for example, the govt should be doing more for them. They are a multimillion dollar export earner, as for many LBs is one of the attractions in LOS, and for us easily the biggest drawcard.

I am wondering if there is any movement in this LB community to help LBs and further their rights within LOS. While we all enjoy LBs and some are in LTR with LBs there seems to be lacking in support for LBs and their status in society. Beyond sexual gratification are many members here concerned about the wellfare of LBs and in general making their lot better? I think this is distinct from the gay rights movement as LBs do not face the same issues as gays. They are now making up a significant minority in LOS but I do not think they are being afforded the rights that they deserve, given that most of them are genuinely beautiful people who deserve a fair go. Are there any movements and societies that anyone knows of? We all share a passion for them and it would be nice to know that extends beyond treating them as just objects, but rather they are a valued part of society that provide happiness for so many of us, that I don't think they get reciprocated in their lives. Financially yes, they can do well from our "support" but what if anything is being done to further their standing in society, where I believe they should be treated as equals? I'm interested to know if anyone else knows much about this, or if anyone shares similar thoughts?

Hi Rukki, Firstly let me say thank you for taking the time with your advice, much appreciated. I have been to thailannd before so have some idea of the country & culture, albeit if just as a tourist. I spent a good month travelling around the country, so while I don't think I have as much insight as anyone who is living there I at least know the reality of it for a tourist, that essentially your just a cash cow waiting to be milked. For P4P I would not (famous last words) fall for them no matter how much I thought I loved them - being on holiday would be an absolute no no and I guess there are some that naive out there, that fails to amaze, but I am not one of those! Keeping P4P and relationships with non working LBs seperate is very important, I'd like to experience both but realise it is NOT going to be possible to have both at the same time. As for maintaining a relationship ie relocating to Thailand that is a different matter and a bridge I would have to cross if the need arose. They all want my money but they are going to soon tired of me due to being a cheap charlie and that has always been the case, the moment I sniff a rat I am not uncomfortable saying no. Usually it's pretty easy to tell then, they will move on to an easier target. As for sponsers I think its a great thing because those who need the money are relieving those who have it and don't really need it. Personally I don't see the point for me as if she is receptive of my money without working for it then she is for the next guy, and the next and so on. I'm not interested in that sort of person. I also understand that you do need money to survive and it is perfectly understanable behaviour on the part of the sponsee, so hold no grudges against them. Life is not a fairytale, but I think many Lbs would like it to be. I'm hoping to be the 0.001%, and as small as that chance is I think it is something to look forward to and by at least trying to pursue this I have nothing to loose as long as I keep my head screwed on and continue to remind myself of the realities you have pointed out - although I already knew most of what you said it is always good to have it reiterated so as to keep everything in perspective and keep it real. Do look forward to catch up with some others for a beer who appreciate the lovely LBs as much as me, as face it, its nots something you can rock up to your local bar in your home country and have a chin wag about!

Just when you think you've seen the most beautiful LBs already and you can't expect them to get any better the internet throws up a pic of someone like Pookie! I like your comment about it being much more rewarding than a Hollywood sighting - that is a given really but the closest I could approximate it to...I think that's what makes this much more rewarding than being interested in mainstream banal celebs that some people would be happy to just shake their hands. In this little world you could find yourself spending the night with someone, getting to know them and having a personal connection with, albeit fleeting. I'm not really obsessed with spotting those I have seen on the net since I don't have a photographic memory and would need one to recall the thousands of LBs that have stood out on various sites. There is just one however, while i'm on the subject, she featured on LBG when it was running and I think she starred in Double Stuffed..#2 where she gets double penetration - had a nose ring and shoulder length gold hair - guess she would be about 5 or 6 years older now - this is really going off topic but boy would I love to meet her some day! As to the don't plan too much mantra - I agree if your here to monger. I'm primarily looking for a relationship, long term so I need to invest the time to know them well beforehand as I don't have the luxury to live in LOS and then that would be possible to find a non "working" LB in a normal job (salon etc). I realise this site is mainly for mongers - and as there isn't a separate community of those looking for LB relationships - this is closest I can find. I'm not totally adverse to some mongering however if all else fails, I'm planning to avoid Patts for this very reason I won't resist the temptation, but should I end up single then I guess I have a hall pass to Pattaya and look forward to enjoying some of the action there!

Hi all, I just wanted to say hi as I am new to this forum and since the tone of this forum seems very welcoming, with the other members being very helpful and civil. I get the feeling this forum is rather new but it is off to a good start and seems to be a nice sized community of friendly folk. I just spend the last couple of days reading up - I thought I knew a little about the scene but unlike many here I am not living it so it is always great to get first hand experiences and up to the minute reporting from the ground. I'm not a complete newbie, would say intermediate experienced - have been to LOS about a decade ago, although at that time I was still a teenager so much too timid to dip my toes in the water.The closest I got was when one caught me looking to her as we walked down the road and she rushed over to grab my pants - embarrassed (travelling with some other buddies) I had to push her away and act like I didn't enjoy her sexual advances! Well at that time I probably wasn't aware of just how much I would later become infatuated with these lovely angels. The curiousity never left me and eventually I found myself being increasingly drawn to LB porn sites (that were in their infancy at the time). Nearly a decade on and the amount out there is mindboggling - it seems the rest of the world's interest has picked up on this as my own has. It always amazes me that you guys can find the girls you've seen on the net! That must be like seeing a famous Hollywood celeb, not only that, but knowing you have a very good chance of going to bed with them! Anyway after many years of being stuck in my country and having only the sites on the net to fantasize about (a few experience's in my own country -(over priced&ugly!) I am now in the position where I can go to LOS soon, to what now seems like the Holy Grail or Mecca! I have got a few LB "friends" from the net that I want to visit (not sure who first, or who exclusive, because they all want that title!) and then I would ofcourse like to go to the bar scene too. But I can't have my cake and eat it too. But having read the warning about pre-arranged meetings I am getting a bit concerned because I have to respect the advice given on this forum by some senior members. Although I am looking for a LB for a relationship, I am also conscious that it could turn to shit on the first day - then I guess I would have no option than to go check out the bars - not too bad either, I guess ;) But I would love to share that time with other enthusiasts (around my own age would be cool) so will be following things on this forum and hope to know a bit more about you other guys and we can hopefully have some fun with the LBs. I wouldn't say wingman as I don't believe it's necessary, but sharing your passion with other likeminded people usually results in a better outcome than if I am to wander around aimlessly.
