The whole mask thing is stupid. I went out today and decided to have something to eat. Here we are all in masks and as soon as you take a seat at a cafe the masks come off. How dumb is that???. I know we cant eat through a mask but for gods sake how stupid!!!. I think cafes must be covid free zones. How lucky for them.

I like hiim too, he grew on me. He's been to Asia before, about 15 yrs ago I think. Rough edges and all he's all smiles and laughing and dozens of comments have said he's the bestt vlogger on Thailand as he's 100% real. I asked Lily and Ninew and they both told me just "M". I much prefer just "M" (a la James Bond) and tried to brand her as such at PY and here, but all other BMs keep spelling it the long way.... Can you pls ask the lady what she prefers to be spelled? And while you are at it, can you please please please ask about Ninew...? I actually feel sorry for the guy. Having watched a few of his videos now I think he has a problem. Whether as has been said that he was brought up in an orphanage has something to do with it, I dont know. I am only an amateur shrink but his attitude reaks of jealousy and loneliness. because they're REALLY slow to get the picture? Hell, a lot of Thai's will continue to wear them. Many are fearful still. You always would see the occasional mask even years ago. Some for the particulates in the air I suppose. I've seen on some vids in non tourist areas or smaller cities even the Thai's don't always mask up. More likely to at a market but as we all know Covid cannot enter restaurant so ok for no mask there :)

To the bigger picture I'd say they were definitely wrong. For old farts like us maybe they were right while the vaccine was developed, but we haven't even seen the beginning of effects for younger people. Some were locked up at home for 2 years in some countries.

I'm not sure if they were right or wrong. But now that everybody who wants to be vaccinated is vaccinated IMO lockdowns are certainly no longer necessary. But since new cases are increasing in Thailand, it is probably prudent to be mindful of social distancing and not take undue risks at the 11th hour. Instead of french kissing switch to analingus.
