From Nov. 1, the country will allow vaccinated arrivals from low risk countries to return to its popular destinations like Pattaya, Chiang Mai and Bangkok. "Foreign tourists and investors from at least 10 countries which are in health-safe zones, as well as doing great financially, can come to visit and spend in the country." But Saksiam said the wider reopening would be even simpler for travellers, as testing on arrival could be done at hotels and other accommodations rather than at the airport. "The entire time a visitor will spend from getting through the terminal gates to leaving the airport would take no more than 25 minutes," Saksiam told reporters. Continuing from The Bangkok Post wrote today about the procedure after arrival at Suvarnabhumi airport: After arrival at BKK, and for those staying in smaller hotels, one will have to go to a "swab hub". They are not located inside the airport but could be hospitals for example. Bigger hotels either seem to have their own swab hub or are cooperating with hospitals. Then, for the first night, we have to wait in our hotel room for the result... Around 300 hotels (in Bangkok?) are currently waiting for SHA Plus approval. Random @7 Bar (ex Rumours Bar) has opened recently: They are located in front of the relatively new bar area between Sukhumvit Soi 5 and Soi 7. The bar sign reminds me of the two Random Bars in Nana Plaza: Perhaps the same owners? Rumours Bar, which just before the pandemic hit, moved from Queens Park Plaza to Soi 7, apparently has called it quits...

Good point! I think the best looking GGs usually don't work in farang bars, doesn't matter if it's Nana, Cowboy or PP. They have enough other options to make the same or even better money... The options for LBs on the other hand are more limited... Thai owned bars seem to have - on average at least - better luck finding good looking GGs than farang owned bars. Meaw, a GG from one of the Rainbow bars (Thai owned), maybe a 7/10: Benz, a GG from Geisha bar (Taiwanese owner I think), a 5/10 perhaps: But I don't find that all ladyboys in Nana Plaza, even the superstars, are all that cute... Chompoo (ex Casanova bar, farang owned) was in my books, in terms of looks, at best a 4/10 in her later years (though she still had her fans...) Superstar Nay (here in front of Cascades, worked in Obsession before the pandemic, both are Thai bars with Thai management) 10/10 I'd say: Cached (i.e. they will disappear in a few days or weeks) public images from social media
