Time for another Romscar ... 2020 was the year the world was paralyzed by covid, which mongeringwise meant no sex tourism trips, absent which much fewer TRs than usually were posted and one would think 2020 would be a poor vintage year for TRs. Think again! It was a pretty remarkable vintage, especially at PY where some damn good TRs were produced. I nominated them with highlights on p. 1, so I will just repeat the authors' names: Paleface, maxgrillo, 666999, Ari33, and DMP 1969. Plus The-Sith for his ongoing covid oblige non-TR that won one of my organizer's ad hoc Romscars. Well done gentlemen! Alas the Romscar for Best TR of the Year goes to a very special TR posted right here at LBR that does not need the home field advantage to come out on top. I am talking about snoopdawg's mother-of-all-TRs spanning multiple trips over a decade chronicling how ladyboy addiction inexorably takes over and changes a man's path from what would have been his default path. I think we can all relate to that storyline and the joys and opportunity costs it entails. Snoop cast himself as a "cock wampire" mercilessly seeking new ladyboy blood, notwithstanding the empathy he shows for his victims... TR existentialisms aside, Snoop was a true BM pal at PY where he would post to defend me from the threadfucker moderation there unleashed on my TRs. Plus, you may or may not have noticed this, Snoop graciously acknowledges ALL other BMs' TRs by giving out 'spurts' of likes sequentially to as many posts in a TR as his daily quota allows. So, to conclude on a personal note, this is the 2020 Romscar I am most pleased to award. Well done Mr. Dracula. Think of me as the misunderstood Frankenstein monster of PY and let's team up soon to terrorize some ladyboys and write a co-TR about it... Rom

Reading a selection of posts here from you Guys I can say that "Fool & Mug" certainly does not come to mind for what you are doing , more the words of Compassion & Integrity spring to mind.

Ditto I have sent a not inconsiderable amount over the last few months. I hope this covid thing does not go for much longer. Almost all goes to my gf, but a bit goes to those I have known. Yes, I am a fool, but so what. I dont piss it up against the wall or smoke etc. I worked it out that what I am sending, amounts to about the same as an average smoker/drinker goes through. At least I try to justify it that way. Allows me to sleep at night.

I've been sending some money to a few that I know have it particularly hard back home, and they send me messages and pics about just what exactly they have spent the money on such as extra labor to harvest their rice crop, and, my favorite, a pregnant sow! Who knew this quiet and sweet ladyboy is at heart a pig farmer! lol I'm sure not spending my money on much else during these long stay at home months, anyway.

Perhaps I should point out that Lord Snooty of that Ilk is my real name, and that the good Captain was simply a guise to prevent the Boys in Brown from sussing out what I was doing, and removing me from their fair land via a short stay in the Bangkok Hilton. But alas, I have almost no photos from those early days left unposted. Only a few scraps. There is a set of Boube, shot in Pattani 20 years ago, but of very poor quality (my fault, not hers). But not usable, and not really identifiable as the Captain.

In the past I have not sent money to lbs from UK. But this is different. A real crisis. I will also admit to having sent money to help out in these difficult times, even if some might think I'm a 'mug' - I would have thought too that in the past. But what is a relatively small amount for us can mean a Thai can eat and pay rent. I hope things will improve and I won't feel the need to help out, but I will while I can. And I will be saving by not going to los this coming January. What's the point of sticking money in a virtually zero interest savings account (falling in value in real terms) when 40% will be taken in death duties when I die?

To help Dolly out a bit, i have also decided to sell my complete back catalogue of songs, including my biggest Country and Western hit: 'My Momma was a cowgal [my papa was a Hoss]' i promise that i will send at least half of the 20 baht i expect to be offered to Dolly, so that she will get double what she is expecting....... Yee Haw!
