  3. I'm saddened that information regarding the passing of a lovely person many of us knew well has invoked some negative response, this actually reflects back on the BM's who obviously never knew her though chose to make such ignorant comments. Krit was a fantastic enthusiastic lively person, turned her back on the bright life & started up a dress making business. In the last 4 years she took care of her sick mother until she died last month. Krit went downhill fast after that. The cause of death was listed as lung disease, a medical fact & not a personal opinion. Again, sleep well bright girl.

  6. You have no evidence that she passed away from anything other than what has been stated by @petesie so why not lay off the innuendo and let the girl RIP.

  7. Excellent news. Hopefully the quarantine will be axed and affordable air fares available. Thailand will start issuing special visas to foreign tourists starting October, easing a more than five-month-old ban on visitors to revive the nation’s ailing tourism-reliant economy. Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-Ocha’s cabinet approved a proposal to issue visas to tourists planning to stay between 90 and 280 days in Thailand, according to government spokeswoman Traisuree Taisaranakul. The tourists will undergo a mandatory 14-day state quarantine on arrival at partner hotels or hospitals and follow health and safety regulations, she said. https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/thailand-moves-step-closer-welcoming-105436762.html

  10. No details given yet, but it is likely anyone entering Thailand would have to stay at a Government designated 'quarantine hotel' for 14 days before they can go elsewhere. https://www.khaosodenglish.com/news/crimecourtscalamity/2020/09/15/govt-adopts-plan-to-reopen-country-to-foreign-tourists/

  12. I remember that many years ago the All Blacks were touring France and when in the southern area went to a restaurant. One of the team went for a crap in one of those hole in the ground things. When he returned to his table it was pointed out to him that there was some extraneous matter hanging from his trousers. He had not pulled them down far enough!!!!. It made for a good news story anyway!.

  13. put a bolt into the center top of the door frame, attach a rope and a big ring to that. Another bolt or screw at the upper corner of the door frame would be useful for swinging the rope over to keep the rope/ring to the side of the door opening when not in use. or maybe an old used Zimmer frame retro fitted in some way? I suppose you could hang it over the toilet on some small easily repaired after you move, fasteners/hooks.

  14. in Louisiana some rice farms use the flooded field to raise crawfish, which thrive in decaying vegetation spots. my gf makes bamboo shoot soups, which are dark green for some reason and a tasty change from the usual.

  18. Geez mate. stop picking on me! I had to borrow a shirt because i stayed an extra day and didn't have an extra shirt in my pack. Back on topic, the bar is all SP said it is, and more. Service staff: excellent. Ladies:excellent. What's not to like about the bar? I'd like to wish Iain and Nam every success in the new location, and I'll be in there again on my next Bangkok visit.

  23. Cobber32 and I went into Why Not at the new premises last night and was very impressed. They are now in soi 4 Nana just past the Ibis hotel on the right hand side . The bar looks pretty flash with two pool tables and plenty for room with some comfy sofas as well and a great drinks selection. Congratulations Ian and Nam on having a great bar . ( I took the photos just before opening time last night )
