Chaos 9 is just after the Royal Ivory hotel and just before the 7/11. It is on the same side of Soi 4 as the Royal Ivory hotel and across from the school. Chaos 9 has been in that location for a couple of years. There are short time rooms and a terrace area upstairs. I have attached two photos to show the terrace area. The LB in the photos is Peace. I have no idea whether she is still working there.

The end of an era in Pattaya. One of the last remaining LB venues from most guys’ early days in town. I first visited a week or so after it opened in its original, and some may argue better, location across the road. Good times back then.

Chaos 9 is back on Soi 4 but not in Rajah Complex location. It's now located near the end of Soi 4, about an 8 minute walk from Nana Plaza, same side as Nana just before a 7/11. It might have been here for quite awhile but I just stumbled upon it as I needed to be in Bangkok for a few nights. It appears that they have three ladyboys working working there now and they hang outside on the rail so pthose passing by can see them. One of them from Laos seems friendly and attractive. So if you hate the NEP shitpits, here is a relaxed Soi 4 alternative.

not nice to hear about the closure. not my fave bar but an original well-known name. i suspect the first LB bar i ever visited....am i right it was originally across the street from where it is now? But just one of many doomed i fear... things, as you all no doubt know...are very bad here in pattaya, and getting worse all the time..

Sindy has just confirmed to me that La Bamba is no more. Nok has finally abandoned it and is now running the Red Poppy Bar across the street as a sole project. Rent and bils in La Bamba were much too high, so she probably wisely decided to get out at the first opportunity. The girls living above the bar have been given until the end of the week to vacate their rooms and clear out. I was sent some pics by Sindy of her gathering all her clothes and belonging and putting them into bags ready to move (must say her room at the top of the building was actually very impressive when seen without all the clutter). A lot of the girls will now be in total limbo - no room to move to, and no money to afford a down payment on first month rent. There apparently are no rooms going above Poppy Bar. Sad times for the staff who called La B their home for several years, and I can see many of them going ome now as they won't be able to afford rent, as they lived in La B rent free. Red Poppy Bar will be the place of work for the remaining staff who don't go home, so it will be mainly a LB bar. I know a lot of guys stopped going to La Bamba some time ago because it was uncomfortable, and I can't blame them for that. The Red Poppy bar is much more comfortable, good outside seating area for those of us who like that, Pool Table and sports on TV inside, so it could be abetter deal for customers in the long run, when tourists are allowed back in the country!!
