  1. I had a great time in Phuket in June 2011 and went back in 2012 Much enjoyed C & D the girls were fun, but I was a bit frightened and only just on my LB path in 2011 -to this day I regret not going with Annie - wow she woke up parts that other girls could not reach. I never got up enough nerve to ask her. Stayed at the Summer Breeze ( 171, 12 Soi Sansabai, ) which was in good place and gave really good service. Went to the beach, to the clubs and the shows, took a taxi for day around the island. Had one of my best days of my life when I went to James Bond Island ( Khao Phing Kan ), felt so car sick on the mini van, went to a monkey Temple first, then some caves but stayed above ground then to the island - never seen anything like this - so beautiful - great day out, Patong was vibrant and in your face. Took May 2012 had fun and the usual LB tantrums - got thrown out The Tiger club which really piss me off, only later did I realise it was beacuse the security knew she had taken some drugs, but then I was an innocent old man. To be honest I like Phuket because lots to see and do in the day, as well as a lot of choice at night - gather that it is no longer what it used to be or so some say on this forum. Simon's Cabaret next 3 at Fantasea entertainment venue with dinner, thai dancing & show, also outside like a fair, a wonderful night's entertainment Artist's Shop Patong Para Sailing General Patong views inside the shopping center The airport Now you see I do like Pussy Temple on day trip where the caves were Patong On boat to Island mangrove swamp next 4 of Khao Phing Kan Island Bedroom & sitting room at the Summer Breeze and last and not least JIMBO - looking his usual sexy self Edited just now by annat

  2. With nothing much open and lots of time to fill during the current lockdown I have been going through some old files on the computer and phone, deleting some rubbish and also appreciating some of the photos that I have taken. My photography skills are basic... point and shoot cameras and mobile phones are my limit. I am sure some of our more experienced photographers on the forum may also contribute as I guess everyone has plenty of time on their hands. Herewith a couple from me : A view on my way home from my local pub at about 7pm 22nd March 2019 6pm, 6th June 2019, Boracay Masai Mara, Kenya, July 2000.... Unfortunately the camera made allowance for the low light. It was actually spectacular. Philippines, January 2006... taken on a Nokia dumb phone I'm just experimenting on something else from that Philippine trip which I will post a bit later for critique.

  4. Thanks Cobber. A couple more in the vicinity of the 1st shot which is obvious because of the facade of the hotel on the left. Photo taken on the footbridge across the railway station from my mobile phone of the time. This taken 28 September 2017 These from 28th Dec 2015

  5. yes, it seems that the police don't worry too much about sunbathing and swimming as long as it's not too crowded, i.e the individuals dotted around in the day time aren't getting hassled. it seems to be groups which are mainly thai that get moved on. No harm in individuals sitting 50 yards apart on a beach. Certainly not crowds of people on the beach...i see maybe 20-30 in the 3 kilometres of beach road i go along ...actually sunbathing that is. . Evenings it's a different story. Police patroling the beach with torches. And Jimmy... how did you get that picture of my Missus? did i give it to you? i should say that that one was taken before she had her boob job.

  6. In January 2006, I was in the Philippines (my 2nd visit) and met up with a 25yo GG whom I had chatted to on internet and we traveled around a number of places with me using a Lonely Planet travel guide to find places to stay. We ended up staying one night at a beachside resort(?) where we were the only 2 people guests as the place only opened certain times during the year and was winding down after the New Year holidays. When inquiring about dinner we were told to wander up the beach to the next resort where dinner was had overlooking the bay and arranged with the owner to move to that resort the following day. I took numerous pictures of the sunset and rather than upload the 35 approx photos from one night I thought I would try something different.

  8. Living on the east coast I don’t get to see any dramatic sunsets over the sea alas, and one of our neighbours has bloody big trees at the end of his garden which obscures a lot of the evening sunlight that I can see. But I did manage to capture this the other night when the sky was lit up, it only lasted a few mins mind.

  9. It's a good area, more of a commercial district - I used to live in the condo across the road. There even used to be a ladyboy bar round the corner though I don't recall the name. With a supermarket in Tukcom basement and Friendship just up the road, you can't go wrong for a bit of self-catering.

  10. John, I've got absolutely no skills in photography so my opinion is very much a layman's one. The first shot is great, and while i enjoyed them all, shots 2 and 3 are next on my list. I hope you'll keep posting. Thanks mate.

  12. True but bear in mind that his room isn't a 680 baht room, that is the price he paid for a studio and lucked out as they upgraded him to that suite at no additional charge

  14. Good to hear things are well and all are good and fit (Sunny looks very fit in last photo) - it is not easy for the girls who did not get home or who had hoped the pickings would be good when most of the others left. My friend Tong, just got home a few days before the total ban and is not coming back, she will open a hairdressing saloon in the next village. I wonder how many, now they are home and into village life will stay put? Grunt - You have a better half - unbelievable amazed gobsmacked WOW Finally I only just found this I am sure it a Grunt look alike

  15. i dunno about Minds money situation, but a bit irrelevant anyway at the moment... she can't get home even if she has the money to go. She's pretty cool but just worried about her mum and family. don't read too much into Sunny's philosophical musings... i'm not sure she knows what she's writing! would hate to see her leave.. but people move on. knowing Sunny she'd be bored out of her brain in Chiang Rai after a week. Emmy is fine Woodie. Haven't seen her for a while as she is at home looking after her mum until things kick off again. I speak to her by email and phone, she and mum are doing okay.
