  1. POST-EDIT: This thread was started under a different title and with a different thrust but evolved into a factual investigation and documented conclusion that private messages can be read as explained in my post below and confirmed by Pdoggg. Apologies for hiding other BMs posts.

  2. #1) The Admin Control Panel for the Ladyboy Review Forum permits me and BB to login as a Member (this is not a direct link to someone's PMs, though once logged in as a member one could read PMs). I have used this feature when some members had technical difficulties with their account to help determine if the tech problem was on the LBR/Invision end or rather something to do with that member's computer/phone. #2) I've never even heard of the $7.99 software add on before you posted about this. We don't have/use it and will never have/use it. Btw, the Invision Community Forum has some interesting info especially if you enjoy tech. One thing some of you might like is the new Invision Phone App. They have a Beta version that can be downloaded from the Play Store or App Store. You can use one of Rom's links and poke around from there. Do the LBR admins read other people's PMs? I have never, ever, not even once, read someone else's PMs. Neither has BB. I view this as a breach of trust besides being downright creepy.

  3. Be fair BB, those photos have nothing to do with CV. Five minutes before they were taken there was a public announcement that PDogg was about to ring the bell in a bar near Soi Buakaow.

  5. Enough is enough and I decided to research until I got to the bottom of the question we all have been speculating about, but never get a clear answer: Does Invision Community software allow moderators to read private messages ? The answer did not take me long and is an unequivocal YES. There are AT LEAST 2 ways to do it: #1 Log in as Member If you read through the thread below, you will realize that a mod with permissions from the root administrator can see everything a BM can, including his private messages, or rather his "personal messages." He can even be logged in while the spied on BM is also online. He can also post under the BM's name and use his Private Messenger and edit or delete his private messages. https://invisioncommunity.com/news/product-updates/9662-40-logging-in-as-members/ #2 Buy a software add-on for only US$7.99 specifically designed for admins and mods to monitor personal conversations without having to log in as BMs. It's called "Monitor Personal Conversations 1.0.0" https://invisioncommunity.com/files/file/8587-monitor-personal-conversations/ If anyone still has any doubt that it is being done, read this thread where mods from different Boards discuss their experiences with monitoring personal messages and how they weigh Board security and harmony versus BM privacy. https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/topic/222657-admin-access-to-pms/ I rest my case. 8. Social distancing is going to do nothing in baht busses. It's going to be the railings that people grab onto when entering and leaving that will spread the virus. You're better off walking or getting a bike from Big C and cycling from A to B.

  14. I did mean to post this little story last week when I witnessed it. At the Seaside restaurant I was sitting eating my food when this English guy , his Thai lady friend and his soon to be stepson sat down opposite me and the English guy immediately started trying to teach the boy English table manners, how to hold the utensils and the like ( All the usual niceties) . What I couldn't understand was the guy was doing all this while sitting in a public restaurant with no shirt or shoes on .... there should be a dress code in place . Stay safe guys . SP.

  16. Wuhan's Crematoriums Are Filling Thousands of Urns With Coronavirus Remains Each Day Wuhan residents are waiting for hours in line to pick up the remains of their loved ones. The Chinese government insists that the death toll from the coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan is 2,535. But last week, 5,000 urns were delivered to a single Wuhan crematorium in just two days. The crematorium is one of seven in Wuhan. Now, as restrictions on residents’ movements are eased in Wuhan, thousands of people are making the grim journey to funeral homes across the city to pick up their loved ones’ remains. https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/88435z/wuhans-crematoriums-are-filling-thousands-of-urns-with-coronavirus-remains-each-day

  17. Wuhan's death toll could be astronomically higher than the Chinese government has reported, some residents say Almost a week has passed since a case of the novel coronavirus has been reported in Wuhan, China, where the viral outbreak began late last year before sweeping the world. Coronavirus cases are flattening off across China, Reuters reported on Monday. But some Wuhan residents believe that government officials have not accurately counted the number of deaths from the coronavirus. The majority of China's cases were reported in Wuhan, with more than 67,000 people contracting the virus in the province of Hubei. According to the Mail on Sunday, the British government is furious with China, accusing it of underreporting its number of cases. The newspaper, which cited unnamed sources, said scientists told UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson that China could have downplayed its number of confirmed cases of the coronavirus "by a factor of 15 to 40 times." https://www.yahoo.com/news/wuhans-death-toll-could-astronomically-204533948.html

  18. The Washington Examiner is a VERY conservative point of view newspaper. Up to your political leanings to determine what that means to you. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Washington_Examiner The Examiner has been described as and is widely regarded as conservative.[5] When Anschutz first started the Examiner in its daily newspaper format, he envisioned creating a competitor to The Washington Post with a conservative editorial line. According to Politico, "When it came to the editorial page, Anschutz's instructions were explicit – he 'wanted nothing but conservative columns and conservative op-ed writers,' said one former employee."[3] The Examiner's writers have included Michael Barone, Tim Cavanaugh, David Freddoso, Tara Palmeri, Bill Sammon, Rudy Takala, and Byron York.

  19. I used to walk everywhere around Pattaya the first few years. Not just places I needed to go but pretty much every street I could find. I knew just about everywhere. I still regret not having a camera with me the day I found the place where they prep the pigs on a grill for parties. There were like 30 of them setup in a parking lot, most with their server present, ready to depart for parties far and wide. These days, in my advanced years, I stay around Buakhao and Diana and still walk to Soi 7&8 and 13/1/2 but usually not a lot farther. And sometimes ride shorter distances when it's hot and I just got cleaned up to go out at night. Most trips I now go to the gym but walking and gym never seem to burn off the extra calories. Too much beer. But I've never been a serious walker like BB.

  22. I've been off the forum today as i had a lot of thinking about this Corona stuff to do. it does seem that some of you guys are quite worried, so i wondered if i could come up with some suggestions that may help allay those fears. i remembered that a very famous person [i forget who] once said that every problem is also an opportunity. So, taking advantage of the time which i now have on my hands i decided to try to overcome my natural technophobia. I know that Quietguy at least is going to be impressed by this. I can actually hear him saying to himself... 'so Blind Boy...what did you do? Thanks for asking QG...i'll tell you. I walked down the road a ways and bought myself an electric kettle. I was quaking all the way back home carrying it, wondering what the hell i'd done. Scared that my impetuous action would lead to a nervous breakdown or something Like. With mounting dread i finally worked out how to get the devilish thing out of the box. But no fear guy's.. i am proud to say that within ten minutes i mastered the mother. i guess Einstein must have felt the same when he finished his Theory of Relativity. Technology or at the minimum electric kettles, now hold no fears for me! i've cracked it, life is so good now. tell you what else i discovered..using the gravy granules things... ya can make gravy in it too! I would suggest though that no-one puts the rest of the stew in the kettle as the big bits tend to block the spout. so, what about some of you peeps? all locked down with little to do? Well BB, i know that you are worrying about the waistline recently...plenty of time for sit-ups now! get on with it.... Pdogg... did i read recently that you are going a bit Michael Jacksonish? easy-peasy.. practice the Moonwalk, it'll go down great at future parties. QG.... practice getting your HazMat suit on quicker, just in case at some future date you see the postman walking up your garden path. every little helps guys, every little helps.

  24. Video is outdated already. IOC and Tokyo 2020 have postponed the games. The Japanese are not freaking out as the know all video maker suggests. The Japanese Government was doing everything they could to hold the games as scheduled, due to a 20 Billion Dollar investment. They were the firrst to close schools and cancel sporting events in efforts to stop the spread. They also were way behind in testing people although the virus hit this area much earlier than other countries they still have tested less than 30,000 people suggesting there are a lot more out there shedding the virus. It's no coincidence that after the announcement of the games being postponed that they had back to back days of their biggest spikes of confirmed positive tests. At the end of the video he is outside a Tokyo 2020 merchandise shop suggesting that items will be collectors items. I guess he doesn't realize that the games are to be held next year and still called the Tokyo 2020 games. They already have target dates. They on are on the hook for another 16 Billion.

  27. Coronavirus Porn Is Going Viral on Pornhub In a video titled "Bodycam Footage (CDC Agent) Investigates Deserted Wuhan," you're watching from the first-person point of view of "Jerry," a healthcare worker in a hazmat suit, stumbling around in the dark remnants of a medical facility. He breathes hard and his heart pounds, and a voice coming from his walkie talkie tries and fails to get him to respond. There's a sudden, brief scuffle, and a woman in a hospital gown jumps him, pulls his erect penis from a hole in his clean suit, and wordlessly fucks him. https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/xgq5ew/coronavirus-porn-going-viral-pornhub-xhamster

  31. The Pattaya Songtaew (two rows) or Baht Bus, Association has implemented new measures to promote social distancing on their public transportation vehicles at the urging of Pattaya City Hall. Additionally, the fleet has temporarily been cut from 712 vehicles to roughly 200 due to lack of demand currently in Pattaya City. The vehicles will now, marked by red tape, only provide seating for five customers at a time. Additionally, all vehicles in the city that are in operation are being disinfected and cleaned on a regular basis with professional cleaning equipment. The reduced seating and fleet will continue until the situation approves according to Mr. Ekasing, who is helping to lead the cities fight against COVID-19.
