This post is a FLASH from a couple nights ago when I met at the beach at night the ladyboys you have been seeing at the pig roast, the religious festival, etc… they have been my eager local guides and introducing me to more and more of the local ladyboys, some of whom barely speak any English. A friend of a friend of mine has a friend (55555) who works in the kitchen at the Paragon Suites in Jomtien serving a couple of hundred meals a day to the Chinese visitors. The said friend has been told not to report for work for first 2 weeks in February - all bookings cancelled.

Unfortunately I can't find it today. It said SARS was often worse in newer well equipped hospitals. Apparently it perhaps had something to do with air conditioning trapping the virus inside the hospitals vs no A/C and having the windows open. Kissing would seem the perfect vehicle for transmission. Bye bye GFE. I'm actually considering going home. It would be nice if the Chinese could be depended on to tell the real facts so we knew what the hell is really going on.

needs a bit of an update. The rhumpho bar area in Jomtien is now to all intents and purposes dead and gone. Not worth visiting. Jomtien now has a few LBs dotted about here and there... but really it's not happening anywhere other than the Katty Bar on Soi 4.

Sad news indeed. I believe Kobe and Zlatan met up 2 weeks ago in Milano when Zlatan was about to debut for Milan this time around. They were friends, Kobe a football fan, Zlatan a basketball fan. RIP Kobe Bryant.

Well it's been a busy week now I am here full time and had a surprise party for me on Tuesday, Dao and the girls wanted to have it on Sunday 19 ( when I hit town ) but they had 26 customers that day and had no time to prepare so that's why Tuesday was the day .
