  2. It is more polite (that means I feel more comfortable) in calling over a girl if I am ignored (or I can always leave the place) rather than having to kick away harassing girls. It shows they don't care to your well being but just acting to milk money from your pockets, pretending they are nice to you. Fake smiles!

  3. I've recently begun trying to find ways to maximize the number of free miles (and earn free or low-cost airfares) by following some of the strategies suggested by the "experts" on the subject. Just google "frequent flier strategies" and you'll find tons of them. This began as an outgrowth of my annual business class roundtrip on Cathay Pacific that I earn from my home in the USA all the way to BKK. It's a $6-10k seat roundtrip and I get it for free (or very close) just by using my Alaska Airlines/BOA Visa for everything I purchase all year long, then cashing in the miles for the trip using one of their partner airlines. It's a bit difficult as it has to be booked either well in advance, or at the last minute (within about a week of travel) but well worth the hassle for the luxury. Imagine flying from home first class to San Francisco or LA, then flying in a Business Class seat (more like a flying "suite") with amazing service, a lie-flat bed, and all the comforts of home to HKG, then Business Class again from HKG to BKK. I arrive fresh and ready to take on the world. I recently discovered that I can use that same strategy but put it on steroids, and earn miles for doing little more than signing up for certain credit cards. Sometimes you have to spend $3k within the first 3 months; sometimes not. But if you play the game the right way, and plan ahead, you can earn some incredible trips for nothing more than a bit of forethought and organization. For example, I signed up for 3 credit cards today, and as a result I'll have 150,000 miles in my American Airlines account within the next few months. That will pay for a round-trip Business Class seat from Seattle to London in the summer, and then a round-trip Business Class seat from Seattle to New York City in the fall. Anyone interested in more details, or have experiences to share along these lines?

  4. Yes, since I stopped traveling much for business the CC strategy has been my FF point strategy as well, I think this may be limited to US citizens mostly though, maybe Canada too. Not only do I charge everything on my cc no matter how small a purchase, you need to make sure that you pay off in full each month to avoid usurious fees, just set it up for an auto pay but check in every few days for fraudulent charges, not uncommon anymore, in case you need to stop the account from ringing up bad charges. (It happens quickly, my last one had fraud charges starting in HKG & spreading to Africa within minutes, the cc company is usually understanding & replaces the card quickly.) My go to card in the US is a SPG Amex (not so good overseas tho). After $20,000 charged when I transfer the points to my FF account they will bump it up to 25K points. Even at the frugal level of spending I am at these days $20K comes quickly when everything is put on the card. My main advice is to focus the point accrual with 1 airline & get CCs that offer a minimum of 40K point sign up bonus or give extra points for expenses that you usually spend a lot on, eg., hotels, office supplies, etc... If you run a business you can get a lot of points very quickly doing this. An additional point bump can be had by starting to online shop, & I buy everything online except for groceries, by starting at an airline shopping portal. I know both AA & United have portals where once you register & shop through them you get 2X-6X additional points for the same item at the same vendor. Amazon is the big nonparticipant in this. Those who are really hardcore can buy some of the debit/gift cards that offer miles/ points when you buy them with CCs, this allows you to get miles for things like rent/mortgage payments & other things you can't use CCs for. My last trip to LOS was on JAL first class, my god was that an amazing flight, only 7 others up there with me, never could have afforded that ticket.

  5. Jell was timely enough to get a 120 day return visa. After 60 days she just had to leave country and returned for another 60 days. Myx just got back from Bali. Alex and Iya are in Lao now and come back to BKK in two days.

Hi and welcome I would say the Dark Side bar is the best for a first timer ,it is a lounge bar and no pressure from the lovely's in the bar and the boss man is a cool guy ,if you see some customers (guys ) in there have a chat to them also they might give you some tips on the selection of girls in the bar.
